Hey there, can you put this router into modem mode and use a 3rd party router ?
I have a TP Link router and do this with virgin currently but wonder if this is possible if I switch to Vodafone?

Hi there, the speeds are good and service is stable. Presently after having it over a month now my Internet speed test result is now showing 72.6 Mbps download and 18.6 Mbps upload. Happy surfing.

Hi bro, when you order it you pick a switchover date. There was no engineer visit when I switched over from BT Fibre 1. Happy surfing.

Is the speed test carried out on a computer that is WIRED to the router or via WiFi?
Because I've never got more than 30 mbs on WiFi. But Vodafone keep telling me to test the speed when wired.
Also which is better, the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency band?
Hi, the test was conducted by Wi-Fi on the first day of switchover with default out of the box settings and the PC which the test was carried out was the only connected device. It's nearly 30 days since I had it and the speed has download speed has increased to 60-65 Mbps download however upload speed has decreased to around 14-15 Mbps. Happy surfing.

I'm wondering to switch from BT to Vodafone 63 mbps but I'm not sure yet, read a lot of reviews about Vodafone and like 60%+ of people are not happy with it. Right now I'm with BT 35 MBPS cuz BT cant offer me anything better for my street and speed is extremely bad so I'm thinking It can't get any worse than that.. On Speed test I get 6.50 download and 0.8 upload which is rubish. Would you reccomend vodafone switch from BT? Thank you for the video ,you have my like!!! ^_^
Hi bro, those are really poor BT speeds for their 35 Mbps plan. Hopefully you got some resolve with them for that level of service quality. So far so good with my Vodafone service, it's reliable and fast both ways. It's easily the best value for money broadband there is for its combination of upstream and downstream speeds. Obviously speeds will vary from property to property so check the contract service quality clauses before you sign up but otherwise I'd highly recommend it from my experience. @@sutats Thank you! Just one more question - I have 18 months on my BT contract left ,do you have any idea if I will get fined and have to pay all of the remaining money for these 18 months or not. Didn't find an answer for this anywhere and If I have to pay like 450-500 pounds I will be stuck with them its too much for me.
You need to contact BT to lodge a complaint about the low speeds and then express to them that you would like to leave because the speed is not within their Stay Fast Guarantee speed. Happy surfing.

Don’t my parents switched from bt to vodafone because bt prices were getting higher and i had 70mbps download and now with vodafone i get 3.04mbps. Also, whenever i play games my ping is 120 average. Trust me its not worth it.

Hi bro, absolutely, the switchover from BT was seamlessly and pretty much happened minutes past midnight on my selected switchover date. And so far it's performing steadily at the speeds shown in the video. Happy surfing.

@@PickleCrick I'm with virgin too and it's not been great lately. I'm thinking of going Vodafone and to top it off, I have a Vodafone sim only deal at present too. Having that, you get free line install and £2 a month off on broadband. Plus can get some cashback too on top of that, if going through cashback site

@@PickleCrick plus virgin have just notified me , saying my broadband will go up by £3.50 a month . Making the Vodafone deal really good value now. Gonna cancel virgin, usually when they increase the price they usually cancel the increase if I phone up. I'm out of contract anyway now
