was just in my first accident after someone ran a red and we crashed. I really wish I saw this video sooner just to know how nasty these insurance people can truly be. Was on the phone getting asked a lot of questions and without having someone who knew what was gonna happen to me I probably would have talked myself into a deep deep hole even though I'm the victim

when I wrecked my bike my insurance adjuster came over to my home. I was absolutely 100% honest with him, and he pointed out scratches on my gas tank. I said "No, that is from my belt buckle it didn't happen in the accident".
He said "No, no, I fix!" and he did. Not all adjusters are out to get you, you just gotta find the burnt out ones that hate their company lol.

This advice is extremely accurate, and I’ve been a character in the insurance game as the victim. Always call the police so that the officer can apply the fault. The case number and ticket is super important when it comes to finalizing your MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) case.

It was nice dealing with my insurance company after my accident. They asked if i had any bodily injuries from the accident and i did not. They said to let them know if any pain manifested in the coming weeks/months so future medical bills and what not would be covered by them. Mind you, it's not like i brought up being injured, because i wasn't. It was one of the first things they asked me.This was with State farm. I know everyone will have different experiences, but mine was thankfully great! God Bless!

I was in an accident yesterday. The car pulled out in front of me attempting to make a U-turn in the middle of the street. Police report was filed and the police officer confirmed based on the damages to both vehicles, that he was at fault. This was my first accident and his 2nd. He was in a rental car as well. I filed my claim with State Farm and unfortunately have a $1000 deductible. The quote to fix my car was $3500. I hate the fact I have to pay anything. I guess I will just wait and see.

To do that she reversed but went to far and bumped the front of my car. I had no damage and she had maybe a scratch. She is trying to say I am at “fault”. No police were called, we were both headed to work. Only numbers and names were exchanged.

I hope I don’t get any repercussions from this but there is an insurance company out there that after we have paid them a ridiculous amount of money for car insurance and an umbrella insurance we learned the hard way that “they are not!, on our side”🧐 the amount of work I had to do just for them to be completely accurate with what happened was crazy not to mention they made a decision based from a corporate round table in Ohio, and I’m in the Bay Area. It’s really so important to know what your saying and how you say it to your insurance company!

100% Solid information. I was rear ended by a drunk driver going 70, and I was at a dead stop. Unfortunately, caused severe damage to my back and couldnt walk with out assistance. The amount of time, stress, and money that was saved by having an Attorney, made it 100% worth it. I know 100% for a fact, I would have not been able to do it by myself. The insurance company that I had at the time (Progressive), tried to not pay out of my Underinsured/No Insurance policy, since the Drunk Driver had only state minimums, but i had 150/300 coverage.
Even with that, they didnt want to pay a red cent over what the at fault parties insurance paid. So, my Attorney went to court, and we settled for the FULL amount of my policy, PLUS damages from the man who hit me.
The advice in this video is 100% Correct. ITS SO WORTH IT

I was just in an accident today, someone ran into the back of my new car at a stop light. Entire back of the car is damaged and it looks like the frame is bent but after talking to the insurance company I don’t think it will be considered totaled. Since I live in California the statue is salvage value + repair cost > car value. With the prices for used cars through the roof at the moment I don’t see those numbers being greater than the value. If they do try and fix it, I know the car will never drive the same (it’s a final production run 2021 WRX STI Limited) plus it will immediately lose value due to the accident on file & my insurance company doesn’t cover diminished value… someone hit me in a junker 2003 Toyota and I get screwed.

Three weeks ago I was in a serious accident. I was driving home when I slowed down to a halt because vehicles ahead of me had slowed to a halt apparently due to red light. Suddenly a car plowed into me from the rear. That car hit me with such force that my car was pushed into the car ahead of me, which was pushed into the car ahead of it. It total four cars were involved. I pulled to off the road as did the other cars. I had my camera and took pictures. I was also had pain in my neck and upper back and was taken to a nearby hospital. There I was given a cat scan and x-rays. After a few hours it was determined the pain was muscular, not skeletal. Nothing was broken or pushed out of place. They sent me home. I was in discomfort for a day or two but felt fine afterwards. My problem is I don't have collision insurance, just liability. I showed pictures of my car to my mechanic who says it can be fixed and gave an estimate of $8000. My car, by the way, is a 2016 Chevy Cruze with about 34,000 miles. My insurer State Farm set me up with a rental. I sent them the police reports, the pictures I had taken and also a dash cam video of the accident that recorded what happened in the front and rear (the car that hit me didn't slow down).
Since then I made several mistakes. First, I talked to someone from another insurance, apparently the person who hit me, but I have been unable to ascertain whether that person has insurance or not. Second, I gave a recorded statement to my own insurance company. I told them what happened, and told them I was not hurt. I feel line. Now I don't know what to do. Most lawyers who handle car accidents only do so if there's an injury. I want the person who hit me to pay for repairs. Should I just let the insurance companies handle it or seek legal advice?

I have a 2005 chrystler town and country with 145,654 miles. This is my first accident so any advice would be useful ? Very interesting , I am noticing many many claims from family and friends and yes myself .. have been told our vehicles are “totaled” when damage was hardly much. I started to ponder on the idea of ( I wonder if it’s easier for them to just write it off as totaled ) but then I asked myself well how does that benefit them if they have to give you a check for the value of your car… after my second accident it was going to be written up as “totaled” however the Autobody shop I took it to , was able to say no it’s not and it’s fixable” so my insurance company agreed to their evaluation and I got to keep my car. It’s very odd to me .

Ok can you please do a video on rideshare insurance necessary. I was hit by someone while I was driving for grubhub and I think I overshared information. Now I’m seeing there’s all these loopholes depending on if you were on the way to an order, etc then there’s all state and State Farm that have rideshare insurance. But also advice to get your own business so that the car is covered. I also didn’t even realize I needed car rental insurance so that I could still be driving. Now I’m stuck waiting to see if the guy was even covered or if they can even get a hold of him.

I agree. I was involved in a hit and run where I was about to pull out of the complex I lived. I stopped at the stop sign waiting for the passing cars and I was hit from behind. The guy took off. I had a picture of his license plate. I got his information from the police but the insurance denied my claim because they say the information doesn't match. I thought the most important thing was the license plate. Who knows if the car is registered directly to that person or their address.
I was lucky enough, in a different situation, same car to get a settlement enough to pay out the rest of my car payments when it was totaled. The person hit my car along with a bunch of other parked cars on a side street. I took the worst damage.

Can you tell me what you think. If there’s a two-way road with the center turn lane for both directions. Car B & Car A are both in furthest left straight lane with Car A multiple cars behind Car B. As Car B was almost to a stop, if not stopped completely due to the red light so Car A slowed down, then turned on left signal to get into center turn lane to pull into the parking lot, on the left side of the road. Car A is in center turn lane while Car A was approaching next to Car B Car B decides to jump into the center turn lane, with no signal indication or warning. Car A has damage on the right front and some on the right side up front. Car B was hit on the drivers side front door and a little on the drivers side rear door. By the damage indication and this little paragraph (if it makes any sense to you lol) Who would you say is at fault? I can send a demonstration photo I did up myself if needed, thanks!

He's right about you potentialy being sued for not providing it, but in court, I'm pretty sure just about any judge is going to see it as a bribe... Not advisable. If you want to give someone money because you feel bad about hurting them or damaging property, do it after insurance has setteled on both sides and well after ( not right after) any court procedings with a letter saying something like " I'm sorry about what happened, I hope this donation to you helps you with any of you or your family's property or bodily damage. I wish you the best and hope a full recovery" That's the only way you can be safe about giving anyone money after an accident. Hope this helped. I'm not even an attourney and I know this...

First one didn’t call officer but was able to go afterwards for a police report afterwards. Second one they were there in a minute, I dunno if I was out for abit or what. The lady turned left without slowing down or looking what was behind the car she rushed past. Ended up 90 degrees to the right. 3rd one like 3 months ago a 17 year old turned too far and slammed into my driver door and wheel. That one their mom came and we waited for a hour to tell officer what happened. Well after we both gave out statements I asked if there was a camera in that location and he said most likely no but I probably wouldn’t need it because what they said didn’t make sense why they had damage to the front right of their truck. I’ve gotten a dashcam for personal car after the 2nd and then all cars in house one because 3rd happened on grocery run with family. I would have had like 5 near miss side swipes but then I realized you have to click it twice to record. So all I have is one old lady switching into my lane when we side by side and I barely break hard enough. She didn’t even notice me afterwards even with the horn. But mainly people not knowing not to go into your lane on a 2 turn is the common 5-6 avoidance.

You have an obligation to work with your insurance company. But if you are going after uninsured or under insured motorist coverage in your own policy, I'd say at that point your two interests are adverse. You want as much money as you can get and your own insurance company, even though you've paid your premiums, wants to pay as little as they can.

Hello got in a finder bender accident with a neighbor she was parked in her driveway and I was on the street trying to park my dads suv in front of her house she then hit the passenger back side of the suv scraping up the bottom back passenger side and my back rim. Damage on her car was minor and knocked off her plates. She called the cops didn’t want to give me her information or insurance. She handed it to the officer. She also had hit my other car as she did “ hit and run “ on it before hitting the suv. Then she hit the suv and before the cops even showed up she tried to run me over with her car to park in front of my house. People seen her do it I told the officer he didn’t do anything about it since “ no one was hurt “ and I know have body ache pain and debating if I should go to the doctor and tell them what happened. Hello, so I got into a car crash (my first one) on new years morning. I was traveling down a road around 6am which was pitch dark. Their was a tree laying in the middle of the road and it was too late to see the tree since it was super dark, I crashed into it. My car is definitely totaled and my adjuster should be calling me today. Their was a car in scene that also crashed 10pm the night before but it wasn’t towed out and the police knew about it and they still didn’t close the roads or put warning signs despite the whole neighborhood calling to close the roads down. I have back pain and neck pain but nothing serious. What can I expect from this since my adjuster is calling me today and my car is financed through a loan company.

I merged over into fast lane ( far left) and a little hyundai tried to close gap on me I still merged fully and the girl in the Hyundai jumped into the breakdown lane by the median wall to pass me and then slammed into the side both driver and rear passenger door of my crew cab truck.. clearly road rage. And then the women cops come and take her lying story that she couldnt slow down I hit her pure bs!!!! Come to find out it wasnt even her car which is probably why she drove so wreckless and is lying now. When I asked cops how they come to that conclusion they said the tire Mark on my door I asked if I hit her how did I fully merge over and how is the impact all the way in the middle of a crew cab truck and not at the bed? I was involved in a car accident a month ago . A 16 year old driving a Audi hit my Nissan . He was trying to yield into the right lane . The light had just turned green for me as we were going straight in the left . he yield into the right lane merging into the left lane we were in and slowing down in front of us which made us hit his car . Everything was such in shock when the police arrived my boyfriend saw the 16 year old parent make our witness leave . The parents had the 16 year old lie and say he was coming straight like us . My car has not damaged and i didn’t have any insurance. And his parents didn’t want to share there insurance. Now they are claiming there not at fault and want us to pay for damages. I just bought my car . I did a personal injury lawsuit to get everything started . But I’m feeling like my case will have to go to trail . Any thing that can help me .
