Uninsured is a definite problem but underinsured is almost as bad. Many states only only call for $25,000 and when it comes to a new car that's not enough. In the case where more than one car is involved $25,000 runs out quick leaving the people at no cause to either taking the cause to court and even if you get the right decision in court if the guy don't have the money to pay. States need to raise the claim amount to meet the price of a new car.

I was involved in the car accident on July 22., it wasn’t my fault the person in front of me swerve out of the way with no indication of brake lights or turn signals when he moved out of the way swerving, that’s when I noticed the vehicle in front of me at a full stop with the break lights on, mind you I was 2 1/2 to 3 car links away doing about 20 to 25 miles an hour myself and the car in front of me were in motion when he swerved out of the way that’s when she appeared in front of me I slammed on my brakes and slid right into her, causing the damage to her vehicle, Also, my vehicle was in repossession because I’ve had some very hard times my father recently passed away from a major heart attack and then one months later my mother was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer immediately after that, I couldn’t afford my vehicle and I was about to give it up so I didn’t pay my insurance because of that I felt there was no need because I was about to give the car back and then the accident happened , Please, what do you recommend I do now I don’t know what to do. I was married one year. No kids, no assets, just debt in my name, and a car. After a year, she left, took our only car and worked 2 more months, and quit. I’m insured by State Farm, I have all my insurance through them. I naught a JCB 1CXT mini excavator/backhoe and they said they would insure it and also sent a certificate of insurance to JCB financial . I spend over $10,000.00 a year with them. Anyway I use it on my property and was cleaning up an area of weeds and backed up too close to the pond and the ground shifted and because the tractor is a short wheelbase it tipped and slid into the pond!(10,000 pounds) the local office told me I shouldn’t claim it on my homeowners insurance. I have over$659,000.00 of property insurance.anyway they had me call the main headquarters of State Farm insurance. They said they couldn’t find it and would call the local office and then call me back! They didn’t! So I called them again and then they sent me over to someone that told me if the ground gives and damage occurs that it’s not covered! Every time you use it ground shifts! It’s an unfortunate accident! They have done nothing-no adjuster-nothing so at this point the tractor is ruined and I’m still paying on it! They never sent me a denial letter! How do you insure something and then deny it? I got ahold of the better business bureau and filed a complaint! They told me they have a -C rating because of their denial practices ! Then I got ahold of the ILL dept of ins and made another complaint! Don’t know why they let them do business in ILL if they are not paying out their insurance claims! So I need help! I have a corgi mix with shepherd. he bit the owner someone in the dog park. my dog was playing with me fine. then a puppy came rushing toward my dog and tried to play with my dog. My dog got surprised and my dog went after the puppy. i was able to call off my dog to walk away from that puppy. After i walked far away of that area and continued to play with my dog, the puppy followed us and challenged my dog. at that point my dog ran after the puppy who is a young shepherd. the puppy ran back to his owner. then i saw the owner tried tobkick my dog. then my dog bite him but did not drawn blood. The owner of the puppy reported my dog to the police, i got fine $125 for the incidents and my dog got taken away for 14 days quarantine. after i got my dog back. the other owner asked me to pay his medical bills. the police reported that the bite was not severe. i have friends that tell me to ignore it because the issues happen in a dog park and the other dog instigated the problem. i am not sure what to do in this case. your recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Hi my firm has been horrible, my attorney has ignored me since the beginning. She is spiteful, so she sent me to one of their doctors. The doctor was in a sketchy part of town not a sanitary environment. They gave me 2 injections which 3 days later I developed a life threatening infection . In the case of a relatively long marriage, not only does that person lack any real resume for the workforce, but they've also not accrued employment time for social security. Thanks for the video. Our insurance company, Liberty, has denied our claim 2-3 times regarding property damage caused by black mold. Our landlord, who is a slumlord, told us to evacuate after a Mold Air Test confirmed the presence of mold. Considering my mom's health issues, this cost us over $2,000 in hotel fees, food, etc., until we could find a new place to live. Both the insurance company and the landlord have refused to reimburse us. Liberty denied our claim initially, stating that the mold had been present in the home for a while. This is incorrect, as there were no signs of leakage or mold when we moved in; otherwise, we would not have moved in. Our adjustor never visited the property in person, making all decisions over the phone. We had a few roofing companies inspect the roof, and none wanted to get on it due to its severe damage. Their reports indicated that the roof needed a total replacement, with missing shingles and other issues. However, Liberty denied the claim again, as the reports did not mention the damage was caused by covered perils like hail storms or wind damage, etc. I contacted our landlord to get their insurance policy information, which he provided, and we started a claim. Their adjustor visited the property, took pictures showing black mold, and confirmed that the roof damage was caused by wind, a covered peril. We informed our adjustor and provided the landlord's adjustor's information, but Liberty still denied our claim. We have since moved to a new apartment and did not bring any mold-contaminated furniture or clothes with us, threw it away. I have proof of everything: texts, calls (North Carolina is a one-party consent state), emails, etc. Additionally, the landlord has moved new tenants into the home while still working on it, which is not safe. I have video recordings, with their consent. Also a man living there mentioned he'll be working on the roof, despite not working for a roofing company. The landlord filed a claim to replace the roof but appears to be having it patched up rather than properly fixed, imo. He did the same thing in 2021 or 22 when we lived there. He's a slumlord, and I want to sue him or the insurance company for bad faith ASAP. Something isn't right. I'm so confused and don't know who else to talk to. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello, i would like any information i can get. Back in March of 2023 there was a ball bearing in my food and I ended up damaging my teeth and jaw. The teeth part is about $6000 to fix. At the time i was working in a building supply warehouse doing hard labor unloading semi's. For about a month i was given the run around from a huge company and my face and jaw got so swollen trying to continue my job just to survive. I ended up hiring an attorney, about a month after hiring my attorney i ended up getting a letter from the healthcare company my job has been paying for, for 2 years and in the letter it stated there has been an event "reduction in hours" that resulted to me losing my medical, dental and vision insurance and I was also paying out of pocket for my fiancees insurance, almost $1000 a month. But i couldn't do the same hours because of my injury and completely lost everything. About 3 weeks after that my boss sent 2 workers to the truck and fired me. Before I got hurt i was up for a promotion and the best worker for years. I've been in severe pain to the point I couldn't eat to the point of being full. After i was fired i told my attorney what happened. Me and my fiancee had to move from Airbnb to Airbnb every few days doing little side jobs for survival. My attorney gave me the greenlight to send in the evidence of what injured me and after weeks they contacted my attorney saying they're liable for what happened to me that it came from their company. By the end of July my fiancee broke down and said she can't do this anymore and we broke up. I was homeless for a week and in severe pain to the point I can't focus on anything else. I ended up moving in with my grandma. In September I was told I need to see the dentist to get monetary offers. I had to borrow money and was told that we can close the case before 2024 starts. I was told by the dentist that i need to see a specialist and im not working, i can't even sleep until the sun comes up the next day out of exhaustion, I started to get really bad migraines after the times i attempted to eat. It took me until January to get enough money to see the specialist and once I did it took the specialist 2 months to send my attorney the official records of my estimate to the adjuster. About a month after my attorney sent the demand letter i got an offer that wouldn't even cover my treatment and I refused the offer in March 2024. On may 29th i was contacted by my attorney saying 2-3 weeks to hear another offer. Im on week 4 of that and sent my attorney 6 messages this month. My jaw is swollen to the point I can't even open it, the last time I tried eating was 3 days ago and my jaw cracked / popped. I have a big abscess infection on my whole jawline to the point I need antibiotics but i have no insurance, no job and no updates from my attorney this month. The problem is that i was only able to come up with money to check my broken teeth, i still never got my jaw looked at. I need to make sure i have enough for my treatments. I also looked up healing times and for the jaw it's possible I would need surgery and they say that after a surgery that the patient will have to spend 4 days in a hospital. Also I wouldn't have loss my job / career, my wages and benefits. They offered me $10,000 4 months ago. Saying $2500 for pain and suffering. I lost my love for eating food, i went from a healthy strong 144lb man to 89lbs. I lost $44000 in loss of wages, my teeth treatment is $6000, possibly jaw surgery is up to $20000. My pain and suffering is off the charts. This global company destroyed my smile, my life. Things weren't perfect before I got hurt but i had an amazing career, years in with great benefits. I had an amazing woman, i had an amazing social life. I took so much pride in my hard work and providing / being a man for myself and my little world. I lost everything, i can't focus on anything else but not screaming in pain to relieve. My attorney is my only voice to them and more than anything I just want what I'm entitled to going through this nightmare. i have a question I have a personal attorney who is charging me fee's on top of original 35% fee. The calculations that the attorney is charging me are down right horrible and unethical . i agreed to a ten thousand dollar settlement and lawyer wants to give me $1,455.00. So lawyer off the top charged me 35% and im bombarded with all the extra fee's i was unaware of that I was going to be charged. I do not agree with attorney taking almost whole amount. Is there anything I can do? Lawyer keep sending me emails for me to sign on her calculations or fee's for me to receive my check. i have not signed their breakdown of fee's.
