About Sign of Silence:
Sign of Silence is a 4-player cooperative horror game set in dreadful outskirts of Danwille town. Whether you will escape the place or stay here forever depends on cautious and coordinated actions of the whole team!
You and your friends go to a mountain camping for the weekend. The path leads you to a detour road passing a ravine. In growing dusk, you cross a shaky bridge, resulting in your car falling to the depths of the darkness. Luckily, all passengers live, but the car is ruined. There is no signal. You are surrounded by an eerie forest. The night’s dark descends… There’s only one way out - to cross the forest and seek help in a small town called Danwille...
Soon you realize that there are some strange, ominous and inexplicable things happening in the forest. Your way to salvation is a d3ath trap, where every step, every breath can be the last. This game did the noise right. It requires you to be aware of every little thing you do, and that causes anxiety and fear when you screw up. The monsters being extra aware of it also adds a major factor to the paying attention.

@@SirVelo so yes historically torches use to refer to the stick torches that you'd set on fire to use, and the full term in British English would be "electric torch" to what Americans call a flashlight, but it's shortened for every day usage.

I legit had a heart attack when the creature attacked him cause he did that (almost threw my phone into my face XD)
I mean, it only attacked him after he turned his Flashlight off, and only when they had their Flashlight off. Maybe you were supposed to look at em :o. So maybe the Flashlight keeps em at bay, and the second ya turn it off, it comes for the booty.

These games also are a good thing in terms of actual real life model learning. In an event of danger coming from a sentient or semi-sentient creature (a human or a big predatory animal) it is best to avoid emitting light or sound as to not attract the threat.
Playing such games teaches us a mindset of stealth in case of a threat to us present in vincinity and also makes us develop mental coping mechanisms to act even despite experiencing fear of unknown or poorly described threat (the latter is even worse than the former, bc when you only manage to get a glimpse or some sound of the hunter, that´s the moment your amygdala gets kickstarted to scare the fuck outta you).

From what I can gather so far from this video.. they’re like bees or ants. There’s a nest that they all seem to bring food in and breed at which would explain why all the skeletons, including yourself once captured, are there and why they’re all around it. The spider-like one seems to be like a Queen due to her massive size and extremely distinct appearance compared to the others which I would assume are males. The ones that are seemingly still and looked like they’re on spikes and split down the middle I would assume are more like scouts or watchers that would alarm the others which would explain their scream and the sudden appearance of the others. That’s just my assumption. The fact that they’re also underground creatures would heavily explain their blindness and their sensitivity to noise. It would also explain their reaction to your light when you’re close enough because of their adaptation to the darkness which would be highly sensitive to them. All in all it’s just an assumption based on what I’ve seen so far. I could be wrong, but hey, it’s just a theory. A game theory! Jk lmao
