I'm driving Tata Zest XT Petrol, it's an Amazing car, excellent music system, overall ZEST is truly value for money. 1500 km done, I love driving this car, all going good! Most importantly this car was rated with 4 star in NCAP crash test.!
Hey Vaibhav, you have asked this question at right time. I checked the mileage with tank fill method, it is turned out to be 13.2 km/l in heavy Bangalore traffic with mostly AC ON this summer. I am pretty happy with the mileage, fuel cost in Bangalore is about INR 75.00 per litre. And I am yet to check the mileage in highway.
I am driving 17km from home to office (one-way) in 1 hour or 1.30 hour depends upon traffic. Hope this helps!

Yeah this looks like a redeemer. But the diesel seems to be a wuss... 2010 Ford Figo had 72 bhp.

i got mine delivered on 8th april and have done 700kms so far, all city ride. i would say that this is a core tata car . my dashboard has already started rattling , the ac is weak , my left door does not latch on and needs some replacement, the infotainment system is pathetically slow, this car is very noisy and the noise creeps into the car.
the pros i would say that the drive is smooth and i have never felt it to be under powered. the speakers are good.
the milage i was getting was 8kmpl which has increased to 11kmpl and after service it is expected to increase to 15-16 in city ride.
This the actual Wowsome car!

Yup Tata's r always best in designing roomy cars n very reliable ones n now after tiago, hexa, here comes the styleback a class apart (manza's tagline) suites this better... TIGOR is Here to ROAR LOUD. Tata's were good, now better, in a while they will b the best....

in the last summary... she indirectly said that the bolt was a failure.... I think that the bolt was an exceptionally good car... Almost all the buyers are satisfied with it...
I believe she was referring to the sales numbers of the car.

Hi Autocar team, have a quick question. I recently bought the Tata Tigor XZ+ model, after 2 days of driving under city conditions in City mode. The engine noise is too loud and it's little annoying inside. Also when i shift from 2 to 3rd gear there is bit of vibration inside the car, though shifting gears is smooth - is this a common problem with this model? Would like to know whether ECO mode is good in City traffic conditions or can we use City mode itself.
what is the problem with the boot..there is a key slot available next to the number board.. see @0:48 .. which can be used to open while the ignition is off...

tigor is tiger, 7lakh may be for top end, but airbags, abs should be standard in modern days car.

Hi. I have just bought tata Tigor 2 days back and I am facing an issue with the infotainment system. The Bluetooth is not connecting to any phone tried with Samsung note 5 I phone 5s, 6 and 7 and if it does (after multiple tries) and I play the media (songs) all songs are auto forwarding and skipping. Please guide what can be the issue.
TATA TATA TATA Finally ... thats is one sex bomb. One of a kind in most sexiest. Blown i10 grand from my head like kaboom. Soo spacious, Soo looking good. OMG. Kudos TATA.

Like always Renuka rocks. Coming to the car, from the styling front Tata has nailed it though from an engine part Tata could have tuned it for more power as Tigor weighs more than its sibling Tiago.

Nice suspensions, ac is good, power delivery is linear
I drove a whooping 2000 kms from Kolkata to Pondicherry and it was comfortable.
Only draw backs were the BRAKES.
Seriously, they could have done a lot better.

shikhar paliwal every other hatchback's sedan version uses the same swift n dzire , grand i10 n accent, Figo n aspire have the same front look except for the grill

Good points covered compared to other reviews. Especially shut lines not aligned and refined. Would like to hear why Tata cars fails to impress. Look at Zest not much acceptability. Is Tata still struggling to build image in passenger car segment. I am looking for compact sedan and awaiting to compared facelift Dzire 2017. Hope to get crisp and critique reviews. Overall good review with background noise taken care. Appreciate if you can add sub titles as the review progresses. Finally Tata themselves seems to have some doubt as they haven't offered automatic variant. Anyways let us see how this model pulls up. But good design attempts especially the boot area. Not sure of the foot rest as in Zest this was missing. The color choice in Tigor is good.
Eventhough recent tata cars are very good.. People are not buying it because its still a TATA car.. They have associated tata as a below par brand. Eventhough it is not... They should atleast make an sub brand like datsun for nissan.. To look something new.Old tata logo is boring

I think maybe it could, but it isn't good to compare other foreign compact sedan. I could say over the last year Indian quality and design have been better a lot.

there is lot of international road drives happening these days be it brand promo like renault did india to france and some for adventure ,I personally feel that indian auto journalist should choose Indian cars be it Mahindra or Tata. there by creating awareness of indian engineering and change perception of indian cars,of course these rides must be sponsored but I suggest next time try indian vehicles for international trips

ya as usual TATA has to work with front design instead of adding some boot to its sibiling TIAGO ...though the back design is great for a compact sedan when it comes overall view there is a lack of punch in the front than in the rear ...So TATA plz we accept that ur trying hard to get into market but still have to manage
