    I am from the UK and I think this car would do pretty well. Would possibly have to be modified for European regulations for emissions, but this is a nicely styled little car and surely would be cheaper than anything else we have on sale. I would certainly buy one over anything Chinese.

    I love Tata cars. Strong and heavy. Feel confident while driving. Also low maintenance cost. I loved indica too for that matter. I'm not really a fan of tin boxes offered by Maruti or Hyundai.

    TATA has a good time now and growing with everything...speaking about the car.. it's different from indica design cues... grills got newer... tail areas... bumpers changed....it's TATA jump to the new generation car lovers.....

    I have Tiago XM diesel, I have owned Ertiga vxi, wagonr, spark, Eco, m800, I feel Tiago is very comfortable reliable and efficient. It seems you have reviewed this car without actually driving it, or may be there is improvement in 2018 model. I have done more than 4100 KM's in Tiago mostly on highway and hills it is very good car.

    Tata always talks much about its product rather than to concentrate on its marketing strategy..becus it launches its product with lots of noise but becus of lack in skilled salesmanship and customer feedback it cannot create a space in heart of every customer except who purchased a tata product.

      @rudra3695 Před 8 lety

      +Anjali Jariwala Totally agree !
      It is like small marketing strategy , they launch the product and then just leave them after a month ! For example new Tata Safari & zest which are the more better cars compare with their rivals.
      Tata Motors should work better after the launch of the any car.
      And i totally agree with the concern about lack of the customer feedback ! that matters a lot for making a good public image.
      Tata motors launch any car very tremendously but after the launch, they just lost the grip from the market.
      I hope Tata would work better for tiago. Its opportunity.

  • @nikhilgoyal4840

    Its really a very nice looking car. i have already purchased a wagon r cng car for 4.7 L ex-showroom price before 4 months. If it would be launched that time i would go for ZICA for sure.
    You get everything in top variant of 4.75L. I mean just everything(ABS, airbags, front fog lamps, heavy weight car, good mileage, great design, great interiors, navigation system and many much more) - all feature which you will probably get in 5lacs + also its TATA so i am sure they won't use any cheap material in body like in maruti because Maruti and hyundai uses very cheap material. I mean if your car touches any other car at 20kmpl also then also you are not safe. But its not with TATA.
    Wagon r CNG kerb weight-875kg , Tiago- 1000+ kg.
    Next time for sure i'll go for TATA for sure
    People here are looking for AMT, i would say the AMT in celerio is not a great thing to offer there are many problems in that, you can google it. Sometime i feel cheated by Maruti but again due to its peace of mind and great service i am fine with wagonR .
    Go for Tiago guys.

    When i saw TATA Aria flagship launch, i was prefty sure they wanted to stop making cars. They had a stunning Xenon picup , an elegantly macho sumo grande and aged like wine whiskey, but chose a tortoise design for its flagship crossover!
    Good to see TaTa gettimg out of that misguided design element and coming back to its "more car per car" motto. Zeta atleast on all the videos seen looks impressive and looks like it manages a fit finish n quality that is as good as suzuki and Hyundai that holds this market segment.
    Hope TATA launches it with basic safety and with a AMT version. This one can really work if Tata wants to.

    especially the pricing
    we r getting 85 PS power 2 years warranty,dimensions far ahead of car of competing segment and starting price of 3.2l
    the proper road test results given on carwale website proves that it rides well too

      We purchased a swift vxi abs and we are happy with the purchase.
      Its not about tiago, but overall i felt that if requirement is for dialy commuting, it is better to go for a small car like alto. They make life lot easier in this hyderabadi traffic. And can easily take turns and park easily. Saying out of experience :D

      If you drive a lot every day, then the diesel would be a better option because it'll be cheaper to run. But if you don't drive a lot everyday, then just get the petrol. Anyways I really hate diesel cars.

    Hi Renuka, very nice review and since it's from AUTOCAR, it should have weightage. But i would suggest AUTOCAR to consider the quality of the product (Tiago) as well in terms of reviews. I am an existing customer of Tiago and own a diesel model. In fact i made a decision to buy the car after looking at your review 3 years back which i regularly follow. But i think my decision was wrong ,as recently car headlamps started having Micro cracks and when contacted the dealer for a solution, they bluntly say that it's out of warranty. Can you believe a car worth almost 6.5 lacs, with this kind of low or defect quality items being used. Tata might say that they have come a long way in terms of technology and quality, but with this kind of low quality and poor customer experience, they are not worth for consideration. I should have gone with Maruti Suzuki or Hyundai. Very SAD.

    how is tata after sales?
    many say TATA cars ask heavy maintenance after 3-5 year's
    is all this true

    • @JupitersLuck
      @JupitersLuck Před 7 lety

      TATA CARS are heavy on maintenance. Always go for Maruti or Hyundai. TATA has made some improvements but still it lacks in a lot of areas. After Sales service is total trash. I remember when I first sent my car for service they put and dent in it and the Service Center people denied their fault until I launched a formal complaint with TATA. Later they fixed my dent free of cost but added few more scratches to my 1month new car. TATA is a pathetic brand and I have decided to never to go with TATA even if they offer a car free of cost. Put some extra money and go for a brand like Maruti or Hyundai who are true value for money.

    • @PravinPatil41
      @PravinPatil41 Před 8 lety +6

      Thats because the tiago hasnt skipped on the safety aspect. The vehicle is heavy built and it not only meets the current safety standards but also the future ones. Besides, tiago has a strong roll cage so you are very safe if you unfortunately meet with a accident.

    The worst buying experience or extremely painful experience with Tata Motors...!!! Taking advance from customer, forced customer to get loan...customer submit the loan approval letter..then customer hand over the bank cheque of the loan amount and the rest of amount also to the dealer but the tragedy is that there is no integrated communication between Tata Motors Management - The Dealer - & The Customer. Customer do lot of follow up with dealer - with Tata motors head office mumbai - & the person handling to those dealer but - NO CERTAINTY OF THE DELIVERY TIME. Nice car - worst management.

    I purchased Tata Tiago. Within month there was problem in Doors, Windows, Paint, Charger, AC, Charger. Its 4 months but dealer not providing number.
    Don't go by specification and looks. Workmanship and service of Tata Motors is worst.
    Progressive Dealers in Ahmedabad Gujarat is third class. Once they sold there cars they don't worry about customer. They don't even pickup a call when customer call them.
    Even Tata Motors representative are very rude. They also don't even pickup a call when customer call them.
    Workmanship in second half maruti zen was much better than Tata Motors Tiago.
