Guys this is a day of deep sea fishing that we will never forget. I managed to catch my first Wahoo on the jig. One great thing about a slow pitch jig is you never know what you going to catch. In this video I explain "how to Slow Pitch Jig" I give in detail the action used when Slow Pitch Jigging. Chris managed to pull up a nice black grouper and will just missed a cobia.

Do you recommend adding a ball bearing swivel to a Vertical Jigging Tackle Lure -Jigging Lures jigs?
Dan, Yes the jigs tend to spin while jigging in return spinning your line. It's always a good idea to add a ball bearing swivel. I generally use a #3 or #4. You can find them on our site in a 2p pack if you are interested.

Hey EJ goo fish is a great option. Also Maxel and Tsunami make a decent rod under 200. If your local you can stop by our store. We carry both. If not they are available Online.

@ JohnnyJigsTV I thought the Valiants were for designed for using mono. Can you use braid with them as well? Or were you using mono? Again thanks for the great info.
I only use braid on my slow pitch set up. Mono has too much stretch. 30# P.E. 8 strand is my go to unless I am deep dropping the I will scale down to 15#.
