For two years I cut many palm trees and pruned many others and it still runs like new.

because the ms 150t comes with a thinner 1/4 micro peak chain, and the ms 201t comes with a 3/8 micro peak chain, which is much thicker

Bigger is not always better. Sure, this is for arborist (tree climbers), but I could see some use if you use very small wood for firewood. But..if I only ever got to own only one chainsaw, I would choose Stihl 241 C-M. I nearly never do any climbing and very seldom small(ish) timber...mostly just firewood. For the size and species of trees we got here in Finland, it must be the best saw. The power is damn near enough for professional loggers and the weight ain't too bad. We mostly got pine, spruce and birch...hardly any hardwoods...and mostly only slightly over 1 ft in diameter or smaller.

261cm is a lot more power and hardly any more weight

Well? You didn't tell us what you thought! It did look a bit sluggish. How would you increase the power?

Thanks. I do Like that saw... I've looked everywhere for a small chainsaw like that and of course, the first one I find has to be that 'sweet' ($$$) STIHL. I keep seeing posted in the ad's "For in-tree professional use only". Are they Really not going to sell me one? Also, do you know how the STIHL compares to the efco MTT 3600 12 inch? T

You can't modify this saw, its maxxed out and overpriced. Makita make almost the same saw for 1/3 the cost.

I'm assuming this is a troll, these saws barely cut the box they come in stock, but with a few mods they become amazing. And MMWS has built saws that you could only ever dream about
