    Don't know if you'll see this Tom, but it's Max from the British Library here. Your video about us resulted an absolute tidal wave of new submissions to our web archive, SMASHING previous records. This is definitely going to be one of those things where the end version has multiple iterations still, correcting over itself again and again.
    - Final
    - Final V2
    - Final Last
    - Final Final
    - Last Final v2
    - Last Final v3
    - Maybe not the last final version.

    One of my favorite things about Tom Scott videos is the whole “one take” lecture mantra. Much appreciate the higher attention span aspect of the videos.

    Tom, did you intentionally mark the break for ads at the exact time he said "And now, it's time for a break"? That was very funny!
    If in 9 years of dozens and dozens of videos you only made this much mistakes, then you've done an excellent job!

      It could be that CZcams scans every video for people saying things like that…? Or Tom designated the ad space when he uploaded it. Not sure.

    Great video, Tom! And, yes, there's a mistake in this one too, related to the toasters: Resistors aren't charged by capacitors, capaciors are charged by resistors.

    • @ninovanhooff3926
      @ninovanhooff3926 Před 5 měsíci +5

      Resistors are meant to limit current, right? I'd say capacitors are charged by an electrical power source and the resistor is there to make sure the capacitor can't charge past its limit?

    • @eiler89
      @eiler89 Před 5 měsíci +2

      @@ninovanhooff3926 yes, "charged via the resistor" makes even more sense, but I tried to keep the wording the same.

    I feel honored that Tom is filming this just to the side of the beach where my friend yeeted my flip flops into the river. I would’ve thought that he’d record it back in England instead of sticking around Warsaw.
    Also, is that video recorded during Tom’s last visit in Warsaw (clams checking water purity)?
