@@trinity31409 The investors meeting, doofus. At least one investor will ask if it’s releasing this fiscal year, and Nintendo will be legally required to answer yes if it’s coming in March.

I've been following this channel for years at this point, but the Switch 2 "news" makes no sense anymore. I remember the dude literally screaming from excitement because a "rumor" suggested Switch 2 is getting revealed/released next week.

I can understand not wanting to watch videos about rumors, but its not like Nintendo gives out progress updates about that state of unannounced things, plus he isnt straight-up lying in the title, so you know what you're getting into, so why are you coming off like its not okay to cover something like this? Just watch his other videos if you still want to watch stuff from him.

This is making my guess of the remainder of the year look more accurate. That is:
-General Direct some time between April 29 and May 10 covering releases July-launch of Switch 2
-Switch 2 teaser trailer in June.
-September Direct as the blowout Switch 2 reveal
-Nintendo Live events starting in September/October and traveling until about three months after release to demo what the holiday slate is and allow demoing of Switch 2 in much more controlled environments than major industry events like Gamescom and TGS.
-Switch 2 out in March, probably the Friday before Spring Break so that a lot of the major markets and demographics are off for a week.
At this point, I'm more interested to know what the "unique situation" might be.

Im still on the 2024 train, but they would have to announce it before July. If I have to wait till next year, then that would be good too. And just because Nintendo said they would be supporting the Switch till next year doesn't mean a new system won't come out this year.
Keep in mind that nintendo prime once Said that he will delete his channel if it's not announced by the end of May, I know this source isn't coming from him but he has a long history with over validifiying leakers who aren't as reliable as he claimes if you research their history.
1. I don't remember that specific comment about the channel, was it on a live stream? feels like it would have been a live stream comment because it's not in any of my videos, and I was doing shots on stream. Crazy things happen during those streams, lol.

Actually, no. My source for this information btw, is my own source, and they are legit, but I handled that situation poorly because I didn't do a good job clarifying how much of it was opinion from the sources versus facts. I did eventually share the messages publicly since I was accused of making it up.
The thing about "verifying leakers" is you can only work with publicly available information. Take Samus Hunter. For a very long period of time, a lot of what she shared was indeed, correct. But it turned out that's because she was stealing information from actual insiders at places online that most of us content creators were not present at. Then, once those insiders dried up, she started posting less reliable information - the sort of stuff Zippo posts, and that is what ultimately ended up exposing her, ending with Sylux Hunter showing how full of it those rumors are, and all the right ones were from other people.
As a content creator, I wasn't aware of the outlets that the stuff originated from, and nobody else around me was either. I am more aware today. I have stopped covering Nash Weedle after old deleted tweets resurfaced behind the scenes, I stopped covering Zippo awhile ago, and today I basically only cover known video game journalists and Nate the Hate, Midori, Pyoro, and we covered Brazil, who I may or may not cover agian, not really sure yet.
It's a pretty short list compared to the days when I seemingly just covered everything all the time.
MY OWN history with my own sources is much more solid. The last one? Obviously a miss. Not that I don't believe something happened, but I made a bigger deal out of it then it ended up being and that's a lesson for me and how I treat my own sources in the future, which are very few.
Otherwise I was only the source on 6 total things and I am 4/6. Take that for what you will.

Nope. I don't brag when predictions are correct. I also don't brag and take credit for other peoples reports and rumors. But for some reason, you think I do? My channel isn't new. It's been around for a long time.

It's a mistake to not release the system this year.
There are a lot of reasons to hold it off next year. Especially with how close it is to outselling the DS.

3. There is another piece of news in here too.
As for accuracy - if there was another delay we probably wouldn't know until the end of summer or beginning of fall. It's too far out (nearly a year) for a delay to happen again already. Hopefully we find out from Nintendo themselves this summer and won't have to rely on rumors like this.

At this point we still don’t know when Nintendo is going to release the Switch 2 it could still be holiday 2024 we’ve seen Nintendo do the unexpected in the past or it could be delayed to March 2025 after all at this point these are just rumors at the end of the day for me personally I don’t go off of rumors at all I wait specially for Nintendo to announce anything not rumors Switch 2 could still release and I’m saying maybe Holiday 2024 so please wait for Nintendo to announce there new system rumors are gonna be rumors at the end of the day wait till it’s officially confirmed from Nintendo whether if it’s releasing March 2025 or who knows at this point possibly holiday 2024
