For the record this woman has watched every scooby doo movie both good and bad as well as owns pretty much all the old vhs ones, after that she told me to never turn that show on again because of how bad it was and when I showed her the meme about scooby not being in it to avoid ruining the character she immediately agreed with it.

For the Velma show, they entirely retconned Fred’s backstory to make him extremely wealthy so that he would better fit Mindy’s anti-white racist agenda. Fred wasn’t some hyper coddled rich boy. Shaggy was the one who was an heir to a great fortune. But Mindy projected all this crap onto him. It’s really difficult not to come to the conclusion that she was motivated by racial bias.

And they all cared and protected each other.
