@Busy Bodies! yeah we use flat spaghetti noodles 🤦🏾♂️ but she did say it’s her version of it so I gotta respect that but yeah this definitely not Nola Yakamein
Definitely ain’t angel hair pasta. It’s a rice noodle and it’s very good with this dish. Don’t be afraid to try new things. You might like it. There’s no rules with this do what you like. You are the one eating it.

looks good with the shrimp. the first time I heard of this soup was on "anthony bourdain's parts unknown" while he was visiting south Louisiana....a lady was selling it from the back of her truck.

Ummm yakamien is a new orleans soup...
It's not soup based in Baltimore. The Chinese food spots here make it with a gravy base.It comes in the same take out box as Shrimp Fried Rice. It's just different that's all. CHEERS!!!
