she kinda reminds me of the stepfamily from cinderella like she liked galavant but she didn't love him even though he loved her,. he was a hero and being his girlfriend probably brought her a certain status in the village.. but being queen was even better and an opportunity she couldn't pass up.

When I first saw this, I felt so heartbroken for Galavant.
I love how Richard gets so excited he jostles with Gareth beside him at 1:12! How is an evil king this adorable?
Gareth punching and kicking Galavant is funnier in hindsight given how he ends up with Madalena later on in the series
