- A recent trip to Nome, Alaska - the end of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. The video includes flying to and from Nome, and some riding around the streets and highways of Nome. Nome has quite an extensive rural highway system, with three roads leading 70 miles away from the town each.

What a beautiful city
It's amazing that the snake river goes from Idaho to Alaska. It's one of the seven wonders of the world

love that video of this you did awesome I love Alaska, I have never never been to Alaska people always tell me oh no don't go there its to cold its a freezer state, hahaha I laughed freezer that would be maybe barrow Alaska but nome and all other towns are so high living cost of rent what I heard so I don't know for sure. how long is the flight from anchorage to nome? I am curious
The flight is about an 1hr 20 minutes or so
wow that's not to bad to go this far if needed what about winter flights do they have that going to nome or is it only during the times where there is no snow on runway because it is snow covered for what I heard
Regular service continues into winter. Alaska DOT maintains the airfield and keeps the runways clear of snow.
that's a good thing they do that you do a awesome video you should do videos for the state of Alaska for those who have never been there, and that would be a real good thing for everyone to see

Last time I was there, Aurora Inn in town had car rentals. That may have changed.
