I like how in this video you have crossed like 4 bosses by accident, I was happy to see you also finally fought Grimm, i was curius how you would react, 7:04 also NEVER hit grimm while he is bowing

@@ABSOLUTERADIANCEMOFO if you noticed, if you hit him while he is bowing he will scream at you and start already with the attack where he becomes a.... ball? And "shoots" fireballs at you, which if you dont hit him while bowing he will only do this attack 3 times in the whole fight, also it's something that many players meme about letting him bow
@@tylertrs8920 ah. I always found the pufferfish attack as an easy opportunity for spells, but that makes sense.

5:14 dream nailing the ghosts gives you 1 dream essence. That's it. Lorewise, you have been trapping innocent beings' souls in your nail forever just to strengthen it :)
Btw you may have missed something in the abyss. Try dreamnailing the rock in the bottom left room for a hint !

Anyways:
1. If you talk to the Stag rn, you'll notice that he is no longer The last Stag. He is now The Old Stag
2. Using your down spell gives you a bit of invincibility
3. Killing the ghosts is entirely optional. They only grant 1 essence. Dream warriors, trees and the 3rd secret option are better ways to get it.
4. Speaking of essence, I think you defeated every dream warrior now. More essence can be gathered in the crossroads, the abyss, Royal Waterways and in the Soul Sanctum. It doesn't come from trees.
5. The nasty little thing can upgrade 3 specific charms to be better. But the price is hefty(literally, not in a mysterious way)
6. You could have made the fight against Traitor lord easier by talking to Cloth in the abyss. Tho she would have died in the process.
7. Hiveblood only heals the last mask you lost
8. White Lady, the person who gave you the charm, is the Queen. So it makes sense that the King has the second fragment. You can complete the charm if you want, but make sure to defeat the final boss after that. If you do a certain thing with the charm, something might be lost forever
So excited for you to finish the game and watch all the mossbag videos to learn the lore. Honestly I absolutely loved hollow knight when I was playing it but it became my favorite game of all time once I finished it and really dug deep into the story. Also 11:32 sounds exactly like when you fight knuckles in sonic adventure haha
You can use the dream gate teleport more often now, this is helpful for repeated boss fight attempts, dont worry you will get the essence you lost easily back, there is also random chance to get essence from any enemies in the game :)

Grimm (specifically his "completed" version) is my favorite boss fight in the game. It's super fast, but once you get the feel of it, he's super fun.
Exactly! His fight truly feels like a dance once you learn the moves, and it is infinitely satisfying when you finally do it without failing, like a dance routine.

Hey dewbi!
That "nasty" NPC (Divine) in the tent next to Grim's is an NPC that can upgrade certain "fragile" charms for an expensive amount of geo (really expensive), but one of those charms really helps. I suggest you probe fungal waste for a certain vendor, it sells those "fragile" charms.
As for collecting more dream essence, track your steps back to the bosses you've slayed, who knows, maybe their corpse can somehow give you essence.
For charms, please get rid of hiveblood, its inefficient and costy lol. Charms I would suggest you always keep in your arsenal are: Shaman Stone, Mark of Pride, Quick Slash, and one of the upgraded "fragile" charms.

Hey stumbled upon this series totally by accident (was recommended because I watched a Mossbag vid) and I’ve been binge watching them lol also maybe someone already pointed it out but a little detail you might like, the Stag’s name shows as “last Stag” but after you find the egg in the stag nest it changes to “Old Stag”
Loved it do another soon please
Not here to spoile or anything, but you should try to go to the black egg before advancing too much, or else you'll be locked out of one ending, hope you like the game

I’m glad you seem to have stopped using it, because Thorns was what was making it so hard to heal in the Hive Knight fight. It ate some of your invincibility frames. Also you might be the first person I’ve seen get that hive grub without having to make a trip specifically for it.
Also, Grimm. When he bows, bow back (look down). That’s why he yelled at you; you hit him while he was showing you respect. While I can’t remember other instances where you are punished for not bowing to characters who bow to you, it’s the honorable thing to bow back anyway.
Your healing habits need a bit of work. I notice that you hit bosses while they are staggered. If you need to heal, heal while the boss is staggered. For all bosses that stagger, you’ll have enough time for at least one heal. Also, if you want a charm for healing, use Quick Focus. Hive Blood is good, and great for platforming challenges where you can wait for it to heal you, but during combat it’s just not worth four notches, whereas Quick Focus is always helpful for only three.
Good job on Traitor Lord! You don’t know it yet, but defeating him now has actually saved the life of an npc, and they are currently still trapped in the Ancient Basin.
Lastly, the White Fragment. It is admittedly useless in its current state, but it is as the White Lady said; it is half of a whole. Hive Queen Vespa “I am not the queen you seek,” but the White Lady is that queen. If the queen of Hallownest had one half, who do you think must have the other?
Oh and to make something clear that the White Lady tells you in riddles: the White Lady is the mother of the Knight (good old deerbone), and nearly all of its siblings. The only one of its siblings that aren’t spawned by her is Hornet. I’m not sure exactly how much you’ve seen or heard, so I won’t go into any more detail about Hornet’s origin or how she is related to the Knight and its other siblings. That being said, I will save you some headache looking for the other White Fragment. You’ll need the Seer reward for 1800 essence, the Awoken Dream Nail. I’ll leave the rest up to you!

Literally, I was so confused how she was able to find that grub. I not only had to come back but had to watch a tutorial video because even once I got the grub map I still couldn’t find it.
Just one tip when youre trying bosses that are bigger like this it’s better to move less. Especially when they have spikes
Also you might want to go back down to that guy at the top of the fungal wastes
And please don’t make my mistake try the final boss before maxing out. It’s so boring when you’re maxed
Also 2 more things you can use dreamgate to make it super easy to respawn at bosses and removes the long walks. Also I would suggest trying to look for an area in the royal water ways. Try to max out that map
why does he have so many moves? because castlevania. thats the real reason.

Grimm took me more than 2 hours, I tried doging every attack except, the flame bats which i would dash over and hit him. And the spikes that pop up i would heal

6:27 she gives you unbreakable charms for a high price
On fungal wastes, if you go upward before going to mantis City there is a guy called leg eater that will give you breakable charms that if you die with them equipped they break (dont worry, just go to him again and he will fix it unlimited times)
10:59 overcharmed means that you can put as many charms as you want, but you will receive double of the damage
12:50 it can only heal one mask
13:41 There is an armor before the ancient basin stagway, just dream nail them and you will get to the white palace and there is another fragment that turns into Kingsoul, that you can use in the Abyss to become the void charm

How do you struggle on Hive Knight but first try Markoth? This is witchcraft.
Base game Markoth is a pushover, you can just spam Abyss shriek and he's dead
