When you sing a Bhajan, it doesn't require so much variations sounding more classical concert type. Bhajan should be as simple with more Bhakti Bhava, natural variations is only required.
May be, but if music is the means towards 'bhakthi', dwelling on the notes of the music or words of the songs, gives us more time to concentrate..... another point of view...!!
@@krisi7562 People perceive music as per their knowledge and experience. Voice comes from throat but music flows from heart...is a basic difference.
While simplicity and devotion (Bhakti Bhava) are indeed essential elements in singing Bhajans, it's important to acknowledge that musical variations can enhance the emotional depth and engagement of the audience. Introducing subtle variations doesn't necessarily make the Bhajan more classical or concert-like; rather, it can add a layer of artistic expression and creativity. These variations can help convey the emotional nuances of the lyrics, making the spiritual experience more profound for both the singer and the listeners. Therefore, striking a balance between simplicity and tasteful variations can elevate the overall musical and devotional experience of singing Bhajans.
