  • Papanasam Sivan's immortal composition Enna Tavam Seidanai wherein he praises Mother Yashoda for her infinite Tapasya that resulted in her being Mother to Lord Krishna. This is preceded by a verse from the Mukunda Mala by Sri Kulashekara Alvar where he declares he does not know anybody other than the Lord himself as his protector.
    Violin: Vidushi Akkarai Subhalakshmi
    Mridangam: Sri B Sivaraman
    Kanjira: Sri Trivandrum D Rajagopal
    Tampura: Sri R Vaidyanathan

One notable part of Sri Abhishek Raguram is , he never keeps a Laptop, or a note book in front of him as reference. Goddess Saraswathi has Blessed him with built in super computer in his brain, to remember the Lyrics, and plenty of permutations and combinations to present the various ragas, and the bhavas, Moni

An enthrallingly masterful exploration of Kapi by Abhishek Raghuram with exquisite accompaniment from Akkarai Subhalakshmi. R Sankaranarayanan is probably the happiest person on stage since he has Abhishek Raghuram's perfection in his right ear and B Sivaraman's divine brilliance in his left.

Dear Mr Abhishek, Your Amazing flow of Extraordinary Gamakams (that gel with your lovely voice quite naturally) - continuously - for each phrase, for each kriti you sing throughout an entire concert is certainly unparalleled. I take a bow. But, Don't you think, this very feature does tend to appear as a bit of Excessive Colouring and relegates the "Depth" factor / the Bakhti Bhaava to the Rear seat?

I am a music enthusiast and I have every right to share my honest views as a well wisher. You are only dictating to me, which is uncalled for. Let the artist take note of a dissent view too.
