      Shrikar G yes you are correct. Especially if we hear the thoppi and nadham,they both synchronise beautifully yet he never overpasses the main artist.That part is most difficult during accompaniment.

    I have heard this Vaagadeeshwari kriti fm by many singers but this youngster outclassed every body else. His aalap is simply mesmerising nd some of d sangathis are fantastic. GOD BLESS HIM with a long long innings of singing in life.

    Can't seem to have enough of this masterpiece. With Vedanta at its core, and mesmerizing Vagadeeshwari and simplistic Adi thalam (Chouka) as cladding, and such amazing delivery by these fine musicians, it's like taking the perfect, all-curing pill for these times.

    I tell you this young man and the mridangam man the grandsons of the great Padmashri Palghat R Raghu saar are doing a great service to our music with this last kriti of Thyagarajaswamikal.     Supposed to be Sri Thyagaraja swamy's last composition and song..Song's meaning, Ragam Vagadeeshwari and Thyagabrahma's meaning and situation in his final stages.. very emotional!! Greatly rendered by AR! Awesome!

    I had the opportunity to listen this song by Sri Abhishek,T M K and Sanjay. All the three in their own style were amazing and outstanding. One shows variety in the raga (Sanjay) the other showing melody (Abhishek) and third showing Gambeeram (T M K).What a composition and rendering by these three musicians.Kudos to you all

    A soulful presentation by Abhishek of this krithi which explains Advaita in simple terms!
    H. N. Bhaskar has rendered Vagadheeswari beautifully complementing Abhishek's alapana.
    ARK's mridangam playing is enjoyable . However the loudness of the mridangam could be more subtle so that it does not drown the vocal singing & the violin.
