Even though you didn't know it, the dog applies bleed status which slowly does a little damage but more importantly reduces healing by 50% which was absolutely critical against a boss with health regeneration. But gg playing the game on the hardest difficulty without any kind of build is insane.

Just so you know, the dog saved you at (3:23:53). Only melee attacks can knock her off someone when she grabs them. That was the run you killed her so mad props to the dog that saved your run.
nah being shot can work too if its enough damage.. my engie turret interrupted her grab severa times :p
@@thorveim1174 Maybe an engineer turret counts because its not considered a gun but instead a skill (proven with rings/buffs). My teammates and I have tried countless attempts to shoot her off us and it never worked. We tried it during the alt kill so... countless attempts...

@@nadawolf7544 I have tried with the wrangler, the SMG and hand cannon but was never able to get her off. My friend had the bulldog and the other used the LMG. Maybe you where able to shoot her in the heart after her invulnerability? IDK but it never worked for me.

Dudes played every souls game and still doesn't dodge into enemies, but dodges away from them.
you can put the stone carving you got into the nightweavers web for an item, but other than that, great job. The fire guy was rough for me because I was a fire build and he got vicious.
FYI: Back step (dodge with no directional input) has faster animations/recovery frames with the same amount of I Frames
handicapping himself by not using his mods or abilities.
It kinda annoying yeah but i think it's because he got used to a certain way of playing and didn't wanted to change the way he play and fight or don't want to worry about when to use his abilities and lose his focus, i also don't think he fully understand his abilities yet so give him some Time to get use to it, the boss is insanely hard too ngl, probably harder than most elden ring bosses😂

Being slow mentally happens to all of us. No one is above having days like that.
It can be due to hunger, low on electrolytes and whatever, but sometimes you just gotta power through it or change strategy if you just wanna move on in the game.
its age 100%. I'm a long time gamer , shooters used to be my fav and i would say i was pretty good at them but now middle aged I'm just horrible at them. The hand eye coordination and quick decision making is just terrible.
@@luplewis271 i don't know about that. Age can play a role for sure, but to say its 100 percent due to age is an exaggeration.

@@luplewis271 lmao are you serious? no, no it's not age. definitely not "100%", not even close. he's barely in his early 30s. you dont just suddenly loose all of your hand-eye-coordination and quick thinking as soon as you enter your 30s, that's not how it works. maybe he's not exactly in his prime anymore, when it comes to gaming, but he's still close enough. he's not trying to be a competitive/pro player. shouldnt make a big difference for casual gaming. i think most likely he's just lacking some experience and playtime for these type of games. also streaming makes things a lot harder as well, i'd guess.
Not gonna lie, this is interesting to rewatch now. Literally did an apocalypse bloat king today, and with my build I auto regen to full hp in like 2sec whenever I'm hit and not one shot. And permanent mod uptime. Altho it does mean I don't have a real relic. The difference in my experience to what I'm seeing him work with here... yeah, felt stark.
Seeing him struggle without so many of the items I ground out reminds me of the first two or three days. Ngl.

Funnily enough Asmon's complaint about visibility are because he refused to restart the game to fix the visual bugs. Shes supposed to have a huge blue fucking glow that makes her unmissable to see
that blue glow only happens when you destroy her weak spot heart. If she ever grabs you, she steals her heart back and turns back to grey/white form
When you start trash talking a boss fight, you know its a good game design..

He should have ditched that rifle and go for something semi auto or full auto during red prince, that was rough to watch :( Glad he got nightfall though, that things amazing

No way you guys just said that. I handled red prince like Swiss cheese with the widowsmaker+20. lol. These single shots help so much to pace a fast boss fight. Shot and dodge, reset. Beaming down a boss will get you to try too many times
He needs to upgrade his weapons and change his armor lol. Probably has bad rings and stuff on too. Not using consumables etc. he’s just ramming his head into it expecting to win
Does that in every game and doesn't even bother to learn simple mechanics that will help him, I guess people like seeing him struggle so that's why he does it lol

Upgrade weapon yes armor meh, honestly no point. Ive been playing same difficulty and doesnt make enough of a difference.

It's hilarious watching him complain about needing to upgrade. The difficulty is literally described as 'don't start with this one' lol. Love the content Asmon but you do this to yourself. I'm living vicariously through you since this game looks so dope!
Whenever I fought the red prince I got destroyed, noticed he applies curseblight, went to Nimue to buy the ring, and came back to wipe the "hallowed hall" with his ashes. My condolences to your sanity.

12:40 "Fire resist? It doesn't matter" he's right, curse blight resist or negate is the best for that fight, so I suggest hex ward ring, completely rids curse in this fight and your entire health bar matters
Also not maxing vig and sleeping on armor is the worst idea but you also don't wanna be over encumbered like most all souls like games

@@The_New_CrisisTTV People don't really like the Deceit gun.. I really like it. If you can get a good crit build with a ranged melee, its extremely strong.
on series x i lost my 90 hour char with all classes unlocked and 8 to level 10, was only missing 2 traits and was about to tackle apoc, then 1 death/dc later all chars wiped....i didnt quit though i like it too much. ive just accepted my fate

His whole moment at 3:10:00 where he asks, "how does that even miss?" Very precise hitboxes - frame by frame shows that at the moment of the muzzle flash, he was aiming to closely shave her armpit. So many games have sloppy hitboxes that near-misses with good hitboxes feels like being robbed.
Ngl I’m impressed. He avoided most attacks really well it was just aiming and hitting shots plus lack of relics that was the disadvantage. If he picked a full auto long gun or a closer range weapon he would have probably ended the fight about 30-50% sooner, the fact he got it done regardless using widowmaker of all weapons is astounding.
yeah took him literally hours, but he didnt give up. gotta respect his commitment to working harder (/more), instead of smarter. however i really think he shoulda worked smarter, at least a little bit, at some point. could have safed him a lot of time and energy/headache potentially. anyway, he made it through in the end, that's what counts.

@@PraiseDolan I noticed however if you got a dmg overtime on the ground like the earthquake mod, it takes her out of that. Or if you used the crystal relic before the grab you survive. However it’s pretty easy to avoid anyway
I have a feeling that the only reason Asmon finished Dark Souls 3 on stream was because there wasn't a meme option to start NG+7 at level 1.

lol i actually love the nightweaver. I had an challenger/engineer build at the time and use a lot of melee and shot guns. The boss that I fucking hated was the guardian on narud

the fact that you put yourself through this and struggled so much with this boss had me dying, i couldnt stop laughing. You made this fight so much harder than it needed to be, it was quite baffling and foolish of ye.
The Nightweaver, got to be one of my favorite boss designs from Remnant 2. (Just from watching people thought i can't play the game)
The world bosses are at the moment on the top of my favorite boss designs.
Loved the Nightweaver fight. Only caveat being the instakill grabs were beyond stupid and unfair. Everything else about the fight was amazing

@@jsuperhalo1 which you can dodge, she curls forward first before executing the grab, it has a really obvious tell and she glows blue before doing it

Just got it yesterday, haven't gotten to try it yet but I think I'll be replaced my trusty Assault Rifle with it after a couple upgrades

Small spoilers if you're already playing the game:
If you defeat this guy with the Assassin's dagger you obtain in this world you get his crown. Me and my friend tried it but his dog ended up doing the last bit of damage we needed LOL. You can use your guns to whittle them down to a quarter health and then just wail away. Other than that, this game has been immensely fun. Every time we play the game through again it's a different quest line or regions we haven't explored yet.

Its funny sometimes I watch people play the same type of game RPG ARPG MMORPG and say those are different game categories when it really is just perspective. The game maker want to make it feel different but just zoom out with over the top perspective and you have a bad ass ARPG multiplayer, with bad ass replay ability multi class like ffIV.

Oof. Hearty AND regenerator? Coupled with nightmare difficulty Id say he actually did really well. Thats a pretty unforgiving mix up lol. Im sure you dont love the game like i do but it seems youre having a much more enjoyable time than the entirety of your diablo 4 experience. But maybe thats just me.
Honestly, as a hardcore Diablo player… Remnent2>D4 for me. Spent close to 100 hours on D4 and barely had any fun end game… Remnant 2 on the other hand… I’m still unlocking amazing weapons n gears with the RNG
@@pestushmb5957 it is definitely a better time for myself as well. Apples to oranges really but it doesn't take away how much more fun I've had with remnant.

He played a boss without weak spots with a main weapon pretty much depended on weak spots, without using his skills, still beat it in like an hour and says its shit :D. Yes first fight was better but its an endgame boss ofc you will get some diff spike and some mildly cheap mechanics.

Regenerator wasnt too bad mostly, since the dog applies bleeding too. So he basically only got regen in the firedome phase and i didnt see hp move
The constant "im so bad" got old really fast. It's so funny to see Forsen die in souls games because he has so much undue confidence. But when someone who says they're bad does bad, its not fun.

healing animation is not bad...Time when you are using healing is bad. also there is special heart where " animation " is super quick. heals 100%. ...but half your relic amount by half.

IT'S NOT A SKILL ISSUE THAT BOSS IS FREAKING HARD PERIOD!
Omg what a boss modifier to roll on the red prince!!! Hearty = fuck tons of health, regenerator = fuck tons of health, put both together and you have a boss with effectively 4X EHP!!!!! Top that off with a low DPS weapon like the sniper and omg you might as well be fighting that boss 10X.
I'll be honest I'd have had to go and look up a high DPS build and farmed it out when I'd seen those modifiers and how little damage I was doing.

I know the starting weapons are viable but watching him use them through the entire game hurts my soul. Using that sniper at point blank range kills me. Use the fae crossbow at the very least. That thing is cracked if you have nothing else. Man has the sniper at +8 and it does less damage than my bow at +5 and then he's like I'm so bad. No bro.. your weapons are bad. Really bad. There is so much fun that is not being had not using the cool weapons.

I did not like Nightweaver either, but the input read? What's the problem, when you now it, you wait a split second once you aimed her and THEN shoot. Not the game's fault player cannot adapt his brain. Also not every weapon is good for every situation, but Mr. Asmo "I brute my way to success" Gold is resistant to adapting ..
