fun fact: for some reason, Hyper sonic can breathe under the water, or the drowning timer won't happen until you're no longer in hyper form, which all the other forms can't really do that.

Ome thing I agree/disagree with is you ranking of Dark Sonic. Super Sonic fought a metrex general and lost/ran out of time. In the very beginning of that saga. Those Metrex have record of that battle. So in the context of the show only, even with the 700 fake emeralds. They make him stronger than Super Sonic. Let's not even think about how strong Dark Sonic would have been with the real Chaos emeralds.

Dark sonic is basically fleetway but nerfed and with control, he's extremely violent towards his opponents but he does know not to attack the ones he loves and i say nerfed because at the time he wasn't using the actual emeralds

The Wisp powers in a nutshell are essentially bonus similar to the ones you get from item boxes like the shields or extra rings.
Hyper Sonic hasn't returned as a narrative decision. Hyper Sonic is just a better Super Sonic, so it would literally just be the same as a Super Sonic boss, but with Hyper Sonic. Also, power creep plays a huge part in it too. Excalibur Sonic and Darkspine Sonic exist because they are unique and can do things that Super Sonic can't.

Plus it could also just be a case of, Chaos had negative energy which couldn't overpower Sonic's positive energy, and simply Dark Gaia could just have a lot more dark energy than Chaos, even strong enough to negate the Chaos Emeralds.

Power wise, Excalibur is the strongest. It’s just explicitly stated as such. It also grants immortality and allows you to kill immortal people. It also debatably can cut through anything. The only benefits the Super Form has is hax. Also in regards to the Super vs Dark form, the positive energy in the Superform should overpower the negative energy.
The dark form uses the fake emeralds while super uses the real emeralds

- Sonic SLAMMED Erazor Jinn in base in secret rings, moreover only a bit of his life force was left. Canonically, Sonic fought Merlina AFTER fighting Erazor Jinn and he got slammed by her at full power + he had Caliburn. Once he went to Excalibur Sonic he obliterated her. Merlina >> Base sonic >>>> Erazor Jinn

For whatever reason i always had this headcanon that (although not canon) Dark Sonic or is Just Regular Super Sonic but ruthless, which means, they are equal in strenght and power but Super Sonic has Sonic Controlling the form perfectly while Dark Sonic acts more violently since he's acting with negative emotions, otherwise they are just the same
By lore they should be. Dark sonic is just super sonic, using negative energy. But sonic x sonic is weaker than game sonic so hecause sonic x sonic is the only one that ever went dark, he would be way weaker than game super sonic. But if game sonic hypothetically went dark than yeah, they should be equaI.

I mean i do get listing the cyber forms as varients of the super sonic form but i do kinda think technically cyber sonic (ya know the black and blue and white eyed one) is probably stronger then hyper sonic now i aint gonna just say this hot take without my reasoning for this so essentially hyper sonic was really only above super sonic because it was stated and clearly presented within the game that it is a better form then super sonic however the blue eyed stage of super sonic does the exact same thing now someone tried telling me hyper is above this because super emralds are just better chaos emralds which is true dont get me wrong but i think this cyber corruption buff is much stronger then we may realize. I actually think super sonic 2(blue eyed version) and hyper sonic are on par with eachother. And obviously since the cyber form is above super sonic 2 it would be above hyper sonic. HOWEVER that being said hyper may still be the better form in general since the cyber form was a one and done and does not nearly last as long and to make it worse it gets rid of the blue eyed varient permanently as well meanwhile hyper can go all out without major draw back so though cyber may be stronger its worse long term definitely a last stand type of form. Well, ultra form does not use one super emerald and billions of rings at the same time, but either one or the other.

Super cyber sonic and even super aonic is stronger than classic hyper sonic. But of course, if modern sonic ever went hyper, he would be stronger by default.

Well it’s all head-canon anyway but even still theoretically Hyper Sonic in modern lore should still take it simply because upgraded emeralds(Super Emeralds) would triumph over Cyber energy.
What I like to think is that Super Sonic(Blue eyes) and Cyber are like Ultra forms of Super Sonic like how Dragon ball Z had. It’s basically the max limit of Super Sonic(or the super form). Hyper sonic in this case being the equivalent to SS2 since it’s an actual change in form.

The robots to "test" sonic were supposed to be stronger and faster than the super sonic of less than a month before that, and we don't actually know if the fake chaos emeralds are inferior.
Dark spine uses conceptual story power one could even make an argument for him being the strongest though I don't personally believe so.

This video does not cover every form so I'll just do my own list here.
1 (or 2). Ultra Sonic (Archie STH) Comfortably Low Comp Multiversal with all the abilities of Super Sonic from the Archie comics (including Reality Manip), all elements manip, and sealing via the Zone of Silence, which is BFR and should work on all other Sonics listed. Also, Immeasurable speed.
2 (or 3). Super Sonic (Archie STH) Weaker Ultra Sonic with less hax. Also, invulnerability. Immeasurable speed.
3 (or 1). Super Sonic (Games) (and all power boosts) cyber corruption is unquantifiable so can't place em any higher than the above forms. Game Sonic's scaling is wonky so he either goes here or above Archie. Depends on if you lowball or highball him. Immeasurable speed.
4. Super Sonic (Fleetway STC) (True Chaos Emeralds) Comfortably Low Multiversal, but with even more hax than every other form Sonic has ever shown, and the ability to absorb Chaos Energy from anything he touches almost instantly. Potentially also the fastest Sonic with Irrelevant speed via Omnipresence throughout time but he is constantly plauged by Plot Induced Stupidity so he cannot be placed there in good faith.
5. Excalibur Sonic (Games) Multiple manuals seem to call him "the strongest form Sonic has ever had" (which obviously no longer applies since Black Knight came out before Sonic 06 and Frontiers), so he should be above the other previous Sonic forms from the games. Low Multiversal due to scaling above Darkspine Sonic. Only hits MFTL+.
6. Darkspine Sonic (Games) Vastly stronger than a Sonic who can beat Erazor Djinn post-absorbing 500+ universes. Easily Low Multiversal. As a bonus, Time Break makes him pretty OP since it is not a Chaos ability and as such probably cannot be counteracted via Chaos Control. MFTL+, potentially Infinite via Time Break.
7. Sonic the Hedgehog (Games) Low Multiversal due to the feat above but not on the same level as any of his transformations. Faster than Darkspine and Excalibur due to Immeasurable speed feats in Generations and Forces, but that isn't enough to give him the win.
8. Sonic the Werehog (Games) Funnily enough weaker than his current game iteration due to Sonic's power constantly growing. Also, the slowest Game Sonic by a landslide.
9. Super Sonic (Sonic X) Massive jump down to Dwarf Star level. Sad. But MFTL+ isn't half bad, plus Chaos Control is a major plus! Even if it isn't as strong as the games and comics variations.
10. Super Sonic (Fleetway STC) (Fake Chaos Emeralds) Massive jump down to merely Planetary! Still better than (almost) all the cartoon Sonics though. Has minor Chaos Energy absorption but not nearly as many hax as most other Sonics. FTL.
11. Dark Sonic (Sonic X) Unquantifiably higher than base Sonic and should not be anywhere near Super Sonic. Still Small Planetary and baseline FTL.
12. Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic X) Weaker Dark Sonic.
13. Super Sonic (Films) As fast as X Super Sonic, but comparitively extremely weak physically. Neat matter creation hax I guess.
14. Sonic the Hedgehog (Films) Reletavistic base speed, can get up to MFTL+ when charged up. Still extremely weak physicals though.
15. Sonic the Hedgehog (Fleetway STC) Poor guy. Small Planetary AP absolutely curbstomps the two above him but he gets kneecapped by his Sub-sonic speeds (ironic considering his name but whatever). He has potential for MFTL+ reaction scaling due to spaceships and Super Sonic fights but that's really all.
16. Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic SatAM) Hypersonic+ to MFTL+, but still too weak to hurt Fleetway STC, so he goes here.
17. Sonic the Hedgehog (OVA) Hypersonic speeds and encroaching on City Level AP! Not bad considering his competition. Far too weak to ever hurt the one above.
18 and 19. Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Boom) and Sonic the Hedgehog (AOSTH) It's kind of a toss up between these two. Sonic from Boom is much faster than Sonic from AOSTH's base speed (Hypersonic vs Sub-Sonic), but much weaker physically, and AOSTH Sonic can use gadgets that help him hit Lightspeed, plus stronger ToonForce. You decide I guess. My vote is on AOSTH.
20. And finally the weakest Sonic I have ever seen, Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Underground)! He is so weak he literally doesn't have a VSBW page. RIP my guy, your show was kind of okay I guess. Congrats on being the weakest Sonic though.
