I have learned two tricks to that specific nozzle on your fuel can. 1) Install nozzle with the red "trigger" facing down so that you can depress it against the fuel fill tube 2) the trigger has a detent that requires you to squeeze the trigger towards the nozzle before it can be pushed in and release fuel. I was squeezing it *while* pushing it down, but you can give it a quick squeeze before lifting the can into pouring position and that will unlock the trigger.
Glad you're getting away from the GoPro. Sounds like the microphone is getting really wacky now. The high pitched machinery sound was BAAAD! Obervation, not a complaint, you take your time to amuse us armchair enthusiasts and I appreciate that you do so! 👍🖖
I remember cleaning the mud out of the tracks of a D9 everyday during the winter so it wouldn't freeze. I was a 13 and used a spud bar. Man! that spud bar was heavy and the mud was thick, but, that was the price I paid to be taught how to run the dozer. Oh, and it had a hand crank start pony motor on it to start the diesel.. Fun times!!!
I've always wanted to try a hand crank pony motor.

That thing is a case mini dozer you can put a bucket on !!!! That thing has some awesome hydro power !!! And the steel tracks with cleets got the traction with the high drive !!! Nice work CPT. 👍👍👍👍

I think the fact you aren't a full-time operator makes your opinion just as valid as a full-time operator. You don't have any preconceived notions about how something should work. It demonstrates how well thought out the controls are if it is easy for you to hop in it and run it with a quick these are what the buttons do talk. DP can over the specs and technical stuff while you can just give a how easy it was to use and how well you thought it did.

Though I really enjoy watching the amazing Minotaur, I’d really like to see how things are coming on your 555. I’m sorta living vicariously through you while you resurrect it. You’ve really inspired me. I didn’t think I could ever afford to have a big boy toy to play in the dirt with. All I’ve got is a old John Deere tractor and a box scrape that I’ve patched back together. But now, I’m looking for something like your backhoe that I can fix up. And by the way, my wife isn’t very happy with you about it either. She says I’ll wind up having to hire someone like you to come straighten out our property after I mess it up, lol. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the videos.

Like how easy it is to service that Case, everything you need to get to in one place, for once it looks like engineers have been listening to operators. I feel your pain with the Gopro's. Bought a 10 to start my channel and had many times that it over heated and shut off, usually I was near enough to hear it but there were times that I didn't and my video just ends or totally missed events. Haven't used my 11 much but agree not much of an improvement. Will have to look into the DJI. Just watching the case run I am very impressed. Looked like you settled into it nicely.

Thanks for the vid Capt. I have heard other You tubers decry the Gopro current lack of reliability. And they also went to DJI. I must conclude that people in your area are more courteous than people around here. If we left some equipment under a cover on some hunting property, and if it was still there upon our return, it would be shot full of holes.

Ok, I've read where you need to put at least 12" of material over a culvert but it seems like a lot of people that I've watched here on YT don't always put on that much. It looks like there's barely 6" on one end of the culvert you installed. My wife thinks it looks more like 12" to her and I'm not telling her any different 😂Sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, so what's the scoop on how much you really need to put over one?
If you use cheap culverts....we use double culverts and never have an issue. "Do it Cheap and you will do it twice"
The Case is a nicely designed piece of equipment. And joy did very well operating it. Did you ever get that rock out of the tracks?
That looks like a well thought-out piece of equipment, plenty of muscle to handle fairly large jobs without needing to haul 2 or 3 pieces of equipment to a jobsite.
Most times, a piece of equipment designed to do multiple things isn't as good at any of them as a dedicated piece of equipment, this one seems to buck that trend.

Question that I have had for a long time about the GMC dump truck, why don't DP install a master shutoff switch like the other equipment that you have? Would love to have a place like the hunting cabin property. I think it would be ideal for a home site.
