Though it will get better in one or more places, Murphy is searching for the next weakest link, to hinder your progress, but with your way of coping with problems, Murphy has a far harder job. ;-)
20:00 How about installing a water turbine to generate electricity from the creek?
Lovvit❤. How you maximize working projects on a budget. Your vision is uncanny.
Maybe you can make a brush hog that can fit on a quick disconnect in place of your bucket on the 555, And if you ever get your own small used excavator for your property the quick disconnect will still work on it
Thanks for sharing!
One of the best free things that someone can do to support a CZcamsr in the CZcams algorithm click-through rate (CTR) is by clicking and playing the video, all the way through, the very first time you see any of their video thumbnails. Don't save it for later, play it through right away, and if you don't have time to actually watch it right then and there, save it to the watch it later playlist, and then go back and watch it again.
Love your videos you make me smile thanks. Joe
A one wire GM alternator will solve that backhoes charging problems. Maybe someone could donate a few of those to you as they work in many applications.
The guy who said hydraulic line fittings don't get stuck needs to stick with his IT job.
Every once in a while when you are lifting those big rocks the 555 squeals a little high pitched noise. Is that because it is having so much fun? Kind of like a thrill ride at 6 flags or something? Or is that the pressure bypass saying hey this is too much weight? I'm thinking it is the first one myself but I might be wrong. That 555 does seem to be a fun filled girl.
Reminded me of the time I dug a trench for a culvert with my truck on the wrong side of it and then blew a line. That was the last time I ever did that lol
Pushing equipment only leads to one thing Mike....You break it, you will have to make it. Keep up the fun times.
🤗❤️👍
Have you added a fire extinguisher to the 555 since Andrew burned his excavator to the tracks? I know a bunch of people have been talking about it. I only bring it up because you mentioned forest fires
👍👍👍
You are one talented backhoe operator! I forget sometimes that you don't have a hydraulic thumb! It must be frustrating for you sometimes having operated with a power thumb, and then not having one! I love watching your skills.😊
Mike you don't know how lucky you are with that Ford machine, blowing hydraulic pipes? baby poo, try replacing cables on the ford I used to drive (Google "fordson e27n chaside" and check out images if you want a laugh.
See, if you had put a lawn chair in there, like I suggested, instead of the real seat, it wouldn't have been in the way 😅
I know the feeling. I go to bed at night with 10,000 things runnin thru my mind. From A to Z and why things go the way they go. I plan 1,000s of things then my mind mulls them over as to how to work the plan. As well as how to fix the world.
OH! great its bust - lets fix it even better than it was........Great attitude Mike.
Never give up on your dreams. You are young, have the right attitude and drive. Thanks very much for sharing your adventure. All the best.
Those creek modifications...not "conspires" unless they were secret plans to commit something illegal. I'd go with "transpires" as in something occurring or revealing itself. cheers
I like all of your little projects I never get bored.
Wow no safety glasses while sharping the saw blades.
i'll be 114 in 50 yrs so you just keep pumping those videos out even if i may not be able to see or hear them by then just knowing their coming is enough ...may have to get a new hard hat thou lol
Thanks!
Needs a hard hat and safety gloves.
Doing great, Mike!
I totally agree about old machinery. That backhoe is getting more reliable since the weak links are failing and getting fixed. A lot of us will happily investment some money and our time distributed over time (months or years) instead of a giant chunk up front. As always, thanks for sharing.
Black locust posts will be rot resistant a whole lot longer if you remove the bark. But that is hard on an electric chain saw. Time or money, your choice?
Hammer drill works wonders on bark removal
Awesome video 🎉🎉❤❤
Your new motto "Cheap is Good....Free is Better"
Hello Mike. Replacing one thing at a time on the tractor is not as bad as replacing everything at once, especially hydraulic hoses. Eventually, you will have nothing left to replace. That day could be called a birthday. Have good days!
hydraulic fittings never get stuck 'cause oil is running through 'em. - - That there is some thinkin' Here's your sign.
Claims “ I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m not a professional, but I got this big genie lift”. Then enters the barn….4 chainsaws and the chain sharpening set up,,, uses terms like. ” start at the bottom and limb our way up”. Sure you don’t know what you’re doing
If not for the projects you could be sitting in the house watching U-tube vids all day every day watching life pass u by.
Your 555 is moving some pretty good-sized rocks. It's seems to be an awesome machine. Great job reviving an old machine. To me, that makes it better than a newer machine. I've recently purchased a new machine and it was a mistake on my part. Not as much hydraulic power, and it's all plastic, like an overgrown Tonka toy. Love the channel. Thank you .
I guess if a hose blows at least it should be one that needed to be moved, looks good moving into the next phase of dress up and clean up.
At times sir a wood chipper could be a friend.
Looking better all the time. Little bites at a time, your getting there, Mike
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Appreciate you sharing your long term goals. Looking forward to seeing you make them reality. It’s important to have goals and I like yours. You are definitely better at implementing them than I have ever been. 😂 I always wanted some land with a creek that could power a micro turbine and maybe make enough power to sell back and pay the property taxes. Something that has become more and more a stretch goal as time proceeds. Great to get the dead wood cleaned up, definitely saw the doom looming when you started to get more than a bucket full stacked on the road. 😂 Wishing you and your family the best.
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video Cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
The Kleeman Khronikles continue....Bud if you could only see the Admiral's complete list of projects it'd probably scare you. Good progress is being made and the ole 555 is still the Swiss Army knife of equipment on your homestead. Great channel, great content.
So, there is an overall plan!!
The constant repairs on your backhoe calls to mind the ship of Theseus paradox! How many parts need to be replaced before the backhoe can no longer be considered the same machine?
Now that is a full day. Maintenance can be scheduled or just immediate. Everything is looking good. Stay safe
The visions you have for your property and life are good ones, its just that visions never seem to include the inevitable cliches ( breakdowns) or the you might as well as situations ( circumstances) one runs into along the way. And seeing how I always seem to have more time than money, I hope, I can wait to see what is, what’s that word, oh, I think its “transpiring” on the channel. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching, appreciate your content.
Hi HI Captain, morning from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Thanks for another entertaining volg.
Is a hydraulic thumb in the near future? And I like your statement about a wet day for burning when most less smart home owners think you want a dry stretch! Pays to be a firefighter!
Do you have any drone shots of your estate? Would love to be able to visualize where and what you are working on!
