“No one cares how hard it is. Just do it” you win my favorite quote of 2024 so far my friend. Now before you go celebrating I want you to know that I forget what the previous record holder was but pretty sure you said that one too.
Let me know when the Trophy Presentation is scheduled…. I wanna clear my schedule!
Gonna have to add that to my favorite quote section of the captain
😂😅🤣
Very nice😊
What a combination today, off road driving, building construction, mechanical repair, mathematical calculations, plane geometry, high elevation circus act, philosophy, and of course a guest close-up of a random arachnid. Sounds like an average day. Thanks for the video, take care.
I think the arachnid deserves cameo billing in the credits!
“One of my favorite pastimes, measure once cut seven times” 😂 you crack me up
Itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the.....I mean....down the camera lens.
Captain, you crack me up!
Thanks for the laughs. Between you and Puddin's fab shop, you guys kept me going and laughing through the dark days after my wife of 43 years passed last fall.
Some day, I want to meet you both, and thank you personally.
Until then, know that your channel makes a contribution to the world.
Cheers
Terry
You always make me laugh Mike! " No need for the extra weight on the way down "! Lol having slid off a snow covered roof I can understand!
I think a lot of us are glad to know we aren't the only ones that talk to themselves.
Only Kleeman wold go rock crawling with a man lift.
"My favorite pastime, measure once, cut 7 times" HA! I am familiar with that pastime!
As a retired Peace Officer I have to say that for a Fireman you are very talented and amusing.
Mike, it isn't us taking the time out of the day to watch you but, you taking time out of your day to make these videos. I watch every one and always give a big thumbs up before I even view it. I'm sure there are hundreds of other viewers that do the same.
Me too.
Cap’n I started watching without my PPE on… by the time I hit mid-point I’d donned Safety glasses, knee pads, Steel toed Croks and my hard hat. Then I realized I’d left my gloves in my pickup with my ear plugs….
You’ll be happy to know that I made it through with the tiniest of bruising, a bit of splinters and just a little tinnitus from the alarm. All in all, a perfect start to my workday.
Thanks bud!!!
That climb up the hill had me on the edge of my seat, And it's not even my lift. Great job, Mike.
Great video, that nail gun must have come from an old western movie where the 6 shot pistol shoots 13 times, you’ve built that whole boat theme cabin without adding any nails ,lol, great work looking good
Hey Cap’n, that board hit me above my left eyebrow, dang it! lol. While sawing watch out for our eyes. I am retired so I have time to enjoy these updates.
"Im just going to put/set this there so i can lose it later" has to one of the favorite qoutes you said. 3-4 years later and i still remember it. Sorry bout your framing hammer, you'll find it soon enough though.😊
good to seen the boat coming along weather proof, least the roof is, excellent video and great humor. Keep them coming Mike
When I had my landscape company I had a uniform service. When we sold the business I bought my uniform pants. They are dickys brand pants but you can’t find them in stores. 20 years later I’m still wearing them. They are cool and breathable and comfortable yet durable.
Over 2100 views less than 1000 thumbs up come on people help the captain out. Have a great day big Ed coming to you from Central City Kentucky. Have a great and wonderful day.
I never get that. Are people that lazy. You see it all the time.
If they are watching it without the YT app, they can’t Like… other than that, there’s no excuse!
These adventure videos keep getting better. I swear that boat was moving one point when you were swaying in the breeze.
I do like watching your vid's, you are a very talented individual. Very funny, and hard working. Thanks for the company!
Pucker factor was high for me when the lift started sliding. Not sure how you felt on the inside but you sounded pretty calm about it.
"No one cares how hard it is. Just do it." Words to live by.
sheathing change. Like a red replacement door on a green truck. Within expectations! Safe holiday weekend
Mike, we all enjoy your humor.
Mike, you knocked that out of the park!
Great video and my vote for the best line so far by you “You don’t need the extra weight on the way down “ keep up the good work 👍
Lol thanks!
To see that last piece of sheeting rest into its spot like a dream come true was a thing of beauty! Well done Captain, well done.
Mike, You do an extremely excellent job by yourself. Be careful my friend. I was like that up until I had a massive heart attack at age 47. Things are looking great. God Bless and Stay Healthy.
The boat has gone up quickly Mike, I hope you’re pleased with the hard work you have done. I am sure helping you lift the sheets from my side the camera did absolutely nothing to help but it’s the thought that counts. Well done
@ 22:10 I HOPE THAT IS THE BOOM ROCKING AND NOT THE ROOF LOL LMAO LROTF !!! best clip ever ! I got seasick watching
You are definitely coming along with the build. I'm so impressed with the quality and how strong the structure is for the rental project. Can't wait to see what you get into next time.
This project is really taking shape, excellent work as always Mike 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
The Kleeman Khronikles continue…DP’s giant lift is pretty versatile…great progress on the Admiral’s yacht. I’m sure she’s excited and can’t wait to blow the horn on her boat. Great channel, great content.
Good morning sunshine! Measure once & cut 7 times! Me & hubby got a really good laugh off that one! Lol! Thanks for being so silly & making our day better! Lol! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
Well done for getting all that done 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
That lift sure puts a lot of wheel pressure down ….so glad you made it down and back up without incident.
I was thinking the same thing, especially after the cliffhanger at the end of his last video!
When DP bought it he busted through the deck of his lowboy trailer when they loaded it.
Based on jobsite rules "Weight limits are recomendations, not rules" it amazes me that a man lift with that much reach doesn't have out riggers.
Nice to see you in trousers that aren't ripped
my memory isn't very good, however.....the day you brought us over to where you wanted to build the You Tube Yacht....is etched into my frontal lobe! i'll be dadgum....you're almost there, and i've enjoyed every video between then and now!!!
Your positive energy is off the charts. Watching you driving that behemoth lift on some sketchy ground especially when it started sliding towards the edge was a bit cheek clenching from my perspective, can’t imagine what it was like for you though. I’m sure there was a bathroom break afterwards 😮😅. Stay safe Captain.
I still say that thing is going to capsize the first time you put it in the water. 🙂 As always, thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad to see that you aren't skimping on the nails. I know it can save money overall, but I would rather it be more secure. Great video, as always!
A one man band doing the work of several at once, and no miscommunication in the measuring and cutting department !!! 😃
Pleased I was able to assist with lifting the sheets for you, wouldn't want to see you struggle on by yourself 😬💪
Pleased to see the cherrypicker basket didn't become a catapult while moving around 😁
And thank you for producing these videos, Mike...... always interesting whatever you are up to 👍🤓😎
Definitely appreciate the help! Lol
MIKE, seems like ya got dem dare 'see legs' covered wit dem 5 dollar pants ! But I reckon ya gist wanna be in yer happy place buildin a boat on dry land ??
Carry on Capt'n!
The lift would likely go up the hill much easier if you swung the boom around 180 degrees so the counter weight is on the top side. That way you're getting more traction and digging in rather than trying to drag the weight up with no grip.
Negative. The counter weight isn't necessarily the heaviest side of the machine. Think about what the counter weight is doing....I'll give ya hint...it's in the name. Plenty of weight on the boom side, and I can adjust the boom to where I need the weight. Been crawling these through job sites for years, boom uphill Everytime.
@@CaptainKleeman uphill both ways too I bet and in the snow! right?
I just love your videos they save the day, between DP and Aaron and all the others within the mad group, just brilliant.
I can just hear The Admiral singing "My Captain Kleeman can do anything, almost". Just remarkable.
Lookin' good Mike. I love the expressions on your face when you amaze yourself with correct measurements.
🤣
You're a very talented guy. I had no doubt the last piece was gonna fit. I feel everybody is here for the same reason I am. You're a funny guy. Not a fungi, a funny guy.
“Don’t need the extra weight on the way down, hehe.” BWAHAhahahaaaaaa!!! 😂😂😂😂
Captain Kleeman: Angle Master. This looks great. Have good days!
Coming along nicely, Mike. Great job, mate. 🏴🇬🇧
Looking good man! Them hydraulic ladders are the way to go,thank goodness you had the means to get one!!
Good thing you got plenty of pieces of wood lying around 😂😂 Good job 👍🤗🇺🇸
Man, that reminds me of building my shop by myself...back when I was closer to your age...lol. Laying a piece of plywood on the ladder and pushing it up a step at a time to sheath the gable ends hoping I'd cut it right the first time, trying to figure out how to hold the truss in place and nail it at the same time... Good times, good times.... yeah, no. But I learned a lot! 🙃
Such a great video! I get such a kick out of you talking to yourself/ us. Its looking great! Alot of hard work. Cant wait for next one
You really had to tease that crain around, you are so funny and you did a great job. I love your conversations with it. Fantastic job of getting all the sheet rock on.. job done. See you next time.❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Damn that hill climb had me invested for sure.
On one of the man-lift moves the camera angle was very unusual. It briefly appeared to me that the man-lift was hugging a vertical shear wall. Very entertaining. I greatly enjoy this build. You are definitely creating a one of a kind.
This is much harder and dangerous than you make it appear. Please stay safe. You are a genius:)
I don't know how I got here but after 25 mins watching I'm gonna say: Champion bro!
💥🎯💥
It’s looking good Mike, I like it my friend! Be careful up there, Mike! Those man lifts are definitely heavy, easy to get stuck! Thanks for sharing my friend, sending prayers and positive energy to you and your family! Until next time! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻
What a great job your doing. Man lifts will get stuck on dry pavement with the right operator. Stay safe
As always, GREAT WORK!!! I like the idea of removing the tool belt to slow down the fall!
Hurra! 😂 The Boat have finite a Roof truss.! The Perfect Roof, i hope it come in the next Time. 😁
Dam Dude,,,YOU ARE BLESSED & AWSOME! Thanks for sharing AGAIN 👍 😊!!!
Appreciate ya watching!
Spider had get on cam at 29:45 to say Hi Kids ! lol Well Mike it's really turning out nicely !
Looking good Mike 👍 👌
You're absolutely hilarious, and probably my favorite channel at this point. I've only just discovered your content but I am hooked. Keep up the wonderful work.
Another great video. I’m so glad you got that top done, we will see you on the next one.
Hey Mike don’t love it when a plan starts to come together. You’re doing a fantastic job 👍🏻
Het is veel werk maar het leuk om te zien hoe je het allemaal doet geweldig 👌👍
Groetjes van ons allemaal 👋🏼🇳🇱
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
Appreciate that randy
This is better than the Three Stooges.
Getting much closer to cabin being dry. Looking forward to watching this & other projects. Have a great life.
You as well! Thanks for watching
Hey, Been using loose fitting used uniform britches for decades. Much more comfortable. And will outlast jeans anyday. Oh, rip a pair, trash and move on. Tks for all you do for us. Used to do most projects by myself but, now getting to the age where I need help sometimes. You are an inspiration.
Appreciate ya watching!
Architect, engineer, builder, lift operator, visionairy, comedian, dad, husband, firefighter! You are amazing doing all this by yourself! I'm so impressed.
Another step closer, looking really good 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Mikey I hope you don’t ever use siding on her, but authentic ship lap………………..PVC or Wood. Than roll or spray Thomson’s water repellent clear from top to bottom.😎👍Tip for DP if he switches the wheels from left to right the lift will have better traction forward in dirt up hills.
Most paddle wheel vessels used board and batten
You always amazed me with how you get things done by yourself this cabin should take at least 2-3 guys to build buy you have done everything but the concrete by yourself.🤯👏👏👏
It’s like an episode of Tim the Tool Man
If that was me I would have got someone else to do it cause I'm lazy, but you do it your way.
Great job, Mike! I’m glad moving the lift went ok. Whew!
Captain looking great! Your videos are extremely entertaining! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
So as you were struggling to get those sheets up, I actually caught myself trying to lean back and get our of your way! 🤣🤣 🤦♂️
🤣
Years when I lived in Illinois we went to terra haute Indiana and bought used work clothes 2bucks shirt or pants , couldn’t beat that with a stick
Pretty good deal!
super impressive solo work, bud!
Hi HI Captain. Greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Wow, I just love how the boat house is coming together. Let's rock, bro.
Maybe you need to contact the Derby BBB, and let them know DP is renting faulty equipment to hard working individuals like yourself! Lol 😂😂😂😂
DP is probably the BBB.... 😅😅
Looking good, Mike, have a great summer.
Thanks for the distraction while being domesticated. I put CZcams on while doing the dishes or cooking, and it makes it easier.
Love to hear it! Thanks for watching
What an accomplishment. Well done Captain. 🇦🇺
Love watching
Another big job done, getting closer every day, good job Mike
I used to shop at second-hand uniform stores. I work with mild sulfuric acid which would eat up eat up all cotton jeans. The $5 pants were money savers.
thanks for walts used workwear reference!!!!
👍🏻👍🏻Awesome job, it’s coming together nicely.
Reminds me of my days of using the bucket truck boom extended with a 100 lb. spool of wire in it to float the passenger side wheels over the edge of a too short culvert :)
Did you notice how the sheathing got progressively heavier when lifting them in place? Great job getting all that up there by yourself!
You operate the struggle bus that is real koodo’s to ya just not you average Captain 👩✈️ video is spot on great watch brings back lots of many memories from years past 👍👋🇨🇦
I don't think you're using enough nails. LOL!
