Grilled unagi is eel with soy sauce, can be eaten hot or cold. If you like salmon, you might like it. People either love it or hate it.
I had those when I was in Thailand a few weeks ago, not too tasty. I prefer the actual sushi.

when I budget traveled alone 20 yrs ago I never saw what you video now. I was astonished how very clean every restaurant and bathroom was. even the squat toilets were spotless. in koh Samui and Puckett..

Wonderful video, Chuck. First, there was that fabulous view at 16:20. That actually made me orally scream, "WHOA!" when I saw it. Then there was your "Slingblade" comment about breaking the bathroom door, "Did I do that?" That was a scream. And finally the cat with the foot fetish on his way back with a very determined look on his face. Really it looks as though you guys are having a truly great time. Oh yeah, and also you have my girlfriend singing in the background. I don't think it could get much better.

That truck ride was cool. Id pay the price to ride the truck. Jump on the top, it has a luggage rack to hold onto. CHUCK! You have to chill out on those pushups, breaking handles like the HULK. That Thai guitar player was on point for American 90s rock.

Breaking the door handle is the least of it was there not a large whole in it people have been trapped by this door but it was clean and ready for use.

Last year we stayed in Novotel Kamala Beach beautiful beach and hotel
Chuck, I've followed your channel since the start and would encourage you to visit "Banana Beach" while in Phuket. It's just north of BanfgTao. I recall the busy touristy beaches are not appealing to you (or us) so Banana Beach is perfect. It's really small, out of the way, and soooo beautiful. I'm certain you would like it and enjoy the short drive as well. Me and my wife (a fan of Page) live in Cherngtalay next to Bang Tao/Laguna Beach, and this is a completely different vibe than the beaches down south. Me and my wife rode the motorbike around looking for you like a couple rock star groupie's but didn't see you. :) I'll keep an eye out for you and will buy a round of drinks if I see you around today.

Love the Bang Tao Beach area. We have stayed the Best Western opposite where to stayed a few times. Drove through there in Aug this year and it was pretty quiet still. Looks like it's getting back to normal. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip to Phuket.

This was a fun one for me. You hit all the spots that I visited a couple years ago. The Bang Tao area is really interesting, lots of money farangs, interesting shops/restaurants. I visited each week when I went the Villa Market, lived in Kamala Beach. I’m yearning to come back, after leaving when Covid hit. Enjoy Kho Tao!
