Yk achieving a lower BF % will help make them more prominent, but it takes a unbelievably clean diet

As you age you will lose "baby" fat in your face (as long as you're of average weight), which will make your cheek bones even more prominent.
@@lad-bo9llit doesnt have to be unbelievably clean, all it has to be is a calorie deficit you can lose weight by eating anything you want as long as its under your matinence calories

Probably fat, you need to be very lean to tell how your skull looks like. Nothing wrong with a bit of fat though, since it can make you look more youthfull but I had to lose a lot of weight for them to show. I lose weight slowly and gain rapidly.

SAME. If my cheekbones didn’t push out so much I wouldn’t have deep nasolabial folds since the age of 19
I’m a male and I’ve got high cheek bones, and a prominent OG curve. Get it from my mom. The fat around my mom’s high cheekbones dissipated as time went on, and her OG curves are freakishly piercing, it looks almost unnatural. And she’s not thin either.
I have her cheekbones, but even now at 30, it doesn’t pop like hers. Still have facial fat that won’t go away despite being relatively lean.
I guess the whole high cheekbone, big OG curve holds the skin up and makes you look more youthful even in older age theory…definitely holds water. At least for me.
Same my mum could be considered overweight to obse yet she has visibly high cheek bones so do I as a guy and even tho it makes my face kinda feminine. I kinda like it cuz even though I'm overweight It helps in make me look kinda lean cuz maybe they give illusion of hollow cheeks

I think people confuse pronounced cheekbones with high cheekbones. You can have pronounced cheekbones without them being high.
and conversely you can have high cheekbones without them being pronounced!
My cheekbones are really high and prominant. Even when overweight. I feel like I look too angular when a healthy weight. Somehow a little facial fat helps soften my bone structure slightly

I have like the highest cheekbones ever. Even when I was a kid they were high. As a kid people always thought I was older than I was. With cheekbones being a mature feature this makes seance now.
You're making me think of a very beautiful friend of my daughter's who always had high cheekbones. When she was 15 our new chef (we had a little bistro thing) fell madly in love with her and we had to have a little chat with him, explaining her age. He had guessed her to be around 25 and was *horrified*. It was a understandable mistake though and no-one blamed him.

@zenityracer75I agree, they're like caterpillars. Don't get me wrong, some look better with thick eyebrows but I hate trends. Some faces are better with thin, some thick, some curved, some straight etc. People shouldn't follow trends but instead what's best for their face shape

I dunno about high vs low but your face shape can depend on cheekbone prominence.
For example in diamond shapes the cheekbone is the widest part of the face while in oval face shapes it’s more uniform with the jaw and forehead

What's weird is that due to years of heavy chewing i can even crack macademia nuts in the shell (300psi). But for some reason im still ugly. Despite being more robust than any human alive today probably.
Mine are moderate? They have moderate prominence. My face is short and I have a wide jaw so they aren’t obvious. My cheeks are flat planes, not round, strongly but not sharply boned. I think it looks just right. I also think round cheeks are cute though and high cheekbones are striking.

But as a person with high cheekbones, I must say I definitely looked older when I didn’t have full round cheeks. Now I do have full round cheeks, I look younger. I believe I look younger because of having full round cheeks, not because of high cheekbones.
