You always replace the water pump with the water pump housing. Usually the housing is the part that is leaking, not the pump. If you buy it original, the water pump always comes with the housing.
great video thanks
Thanks for watching our channel 😊
Thanks for posting this! Does the aftermarket pump eliminate the vacuum system?
No, it has the vacuum port.
Mine is leaking so i bought a non variable (no vaccum) one.
would it throw a code after ? I’ve been told at the dealer that they’re less likely to fail and safer than variable ones.
Great video thanks! question : why didnt you hook up the pipe that was attached to the chromy hose on the top right of the water pump ? it seems that there was a pipe connected to it in the older pump. Thank you
Thanks for watching our channel ☺️
I did it. It might not be recorded in the video because that pipe is to regulate the circulation of the coolant through the engine.
thanx for the video... could you tell the name of the bleeding tool that you use?
Thanks for watching our channel
It is called: Pneumatic Brake Fluid Extractor
Hi, what number its the torx to screw pump?T 30?Thanks
Thanks for watching our channel ☺️
I used T35 but you need to fit the bit properly before applying force to slacken or tighten the screw.
What’s the torque setting for the screws please?
It is mentioned in the video, 9 Nm.
