    Thanks! My 2020 Corolla LE is giving me the message on startup about esb mode activated or whatever. heard it's because of battery. Also had to jump start it a couple times. Just bought a Deka battery with more cca than the stock one. $104.00. I'm installing it today on Thanksgiving.

      The EPB shift interlock function activated message indicates that you have successfully activated the parking brake function when you shift from or to Park gear. Getting EPB shift interlock activated should not cause you any difficulty, all you have to do is pull up the button and hold it for a few seconds.
      An EPB shift interlock function message will pop up on the multi-information display.
      The parking brake has been automatically engaged with the in-park shift level. It can also disengage when the lever is out of the park.
      Suppose you don’t want to use this automatic mode; press down and hold the button. Wait until the indicator and MID acknowledge the deactivation.

    Hey this was an excellent video... But my problem is that in Canada, 307 CCA is small and inadequate. I noticed that the plastic battery tray is also very small. Is there any way to get a larger battery?

    • @nicholaslandolina
      @nicholaslandolina Před 9 měsíci

      There's probably a bigger one in the Canadian conversion

    Mine died 3 months before the 3 year warranty expired. I literally drove 30 mins to the dealer. They asked why I didnt turn the engine off, I said I am afraid it would not turn back on. And it actually did not lmao. The OEM battery is weak imo, CCA is subpar. They replaced mine with Toyota TrueStart which has much better specs.

      Bought my car at 5k miles the battery died at around 25k. Had to wait like 2 months for them to get my battery on backorder. Next time it goes out I'm just gonna get an aftermarket one
