    I'd suggest wipe the dirt from the fill plug area to avoid internal contamination and little sand may keep the plug from sealing.

    I really appreciate your videos. But I want to ask something: Wouldn't it be better to do the complete oil change through dialysis, in which the oil is completely drained and completely replaced with new oil?.
    Since, as you know, most of the old oil is in the torque converter.

    CVT fiuld expands with tempurature. Toyota recommends adjusting the Level of the CVT Fliud AFTER transmission has reached 35 to 45 C and let excess drain out from the drian port.. You did not follow that step.

    For anyone watching, if you crack the fill plug loose first, the fluid will drain faster. I just got a new Camry, when is the first tranny fluid change due? Honestly, though, I wish they would've left the dipstick in the car. Do you have any videos on changing the filter?

      do yourself a favor and change it by 50,000kms/35000 miles but don't flush the transmission, just change the fluid. All Japanese/Korean cars come with very thin fluid from the factory and need changing long before the recommended times. I have a 23 Corolla and I do my oil changes at 8000kms instead of 16000kms as recommended by Toyota. But I worked in the oil refining industry and know their oil change schedule causes engine wear and will start leaking oil in one or two cylinders unless you do it as I recommend. Just my opinion, but I used to teach lubrication tech to mechanics and engineers.

    • @donniev8181
      @donniev8181 Před 5 měsíci

      @@RacerX888 yeah I know never flush a tranny, what people do not understand is the tiny bits of clutch pack material actually help with pressure over time. A flush could plug up passageways or damage solenoids. I'm simply going to drain and fill, especially since I bought the camry new.

      Lo peor que han hecho para perjudicar nuestro bolsillo 😢ya todos los carros son basura desde la carrocería, la pintura acrílica que no se adhiere al vehículo y todo el carro con mala calidad. Antes la pintura era de aceite razón por la cual duraba toda la vida. Hoy en día la pintura acrílica cambia de color, se despelleja y se cae produciendo oxidación prematura.

      Si piensas en comprar un carro nuevo o seminuevo te aconsejo que mejor compres uno que sea del 2012 para abajo. A partir de este año comenzaron a hacer basura y cara. Yo compré un Toyota Corolla LE 2021 seminuevo con 45 K millas en Toyota Limón y honestamente me lo dieron en mal estado. Tiene que estar en perfectas condiciones, limpio por dentro y por fuera. Con frenos nuevos. Para que no tengas que gastar en pago del carro y en descomposturas. Aparte te sugiero que no lo lleves a servicio al dealer ya que te van a robar y no te van a hacer buen trabajo. Cuídate de las ratas del dealer. Ahí dentro es una mafia.😊

      I've read it's technically Not a filter, but a strainer. Many people have Never replaced the strainer but changed trans fluid and have around 300k miles. Our 2005 Rav 4 has 215k miles and we've Never changed the strainer. Just fluid changed.. Runs good enough.. The newest version of 8 speed transmission, said strainer is inside the housing and you can Not easily replace unless you tear down it.
