Can one add gum when putting the new oil seal?

Ive just noticedyou didnt put any seal packing on the front end of the head gaskets,thats what is stated on the 1gr-fe service manual that you have on your channel, why is that ?

Maybe you can point me in the right direction. After I replaced the head gasket on my 2AR-FE I have a very loud lifter tick. Everything went back in it's original location. With it having hydraulic lifters is there a way to do like a valve adjustment or something so I can get rid of that lifter tick?

2004 Camry calls for ONLY using Type-T-IV fluid. This is according to the manual, and everywhere else I've looked. Am I missing something here? From what I gather using the wrong fluid, or mixing fluids is a big no no.

this is why headgasket fail again.. and your torque wrench will be out now (will need calibration).. get a brakerbar instead and the torque gauge...
