A cargo net from the front headrests to the back of the Jeep is a safety idea. You hope it never happens but in a rollover situation those Jackeries become 30 lb projectiles. They’re likely to cause more than a minor headache.

👍Thanks for the awning rear wall folding tutorial (watched it 2x). Used our rear wall twice last year, and it still is not in the 23zero carry bag it comes in. It rides folded in the trailer during transit, then gets xfr'd into the truck rear seat area, or truck bed, if not in use while camping. Looks like I'll be refolding the wall...once warmer temps return. I take a lot of stuff also, even for our 2-3 night trips, and the furthest we go is 3 hrs from home, but you gotta be comfortable. 😎
So glad it was helpful! @retnav92 We did a video on it a couple years ago. The subject was brought up at the camp out so, we thought it was time to reshoot. It's definitely tricky and should come with instructions! Lol!

Awesome video. For folks thinking about raising their awning, what I did was to use a couple 16” unistruts that connected to the awning bracket. I then attached my awning to the higher ends of the unistruts. Helped raise my awning by 4”. Works great.

I was trying to figure out why your channel was called Skyways to Highways and now I finally know! The two of you are flight attendants!!! That is cool! Was able to get my hands on some 'Road Dirt'!! Used on Eggs, Veggies,and Chicken so far..let me say... it's the perfect blend of flavorings!! Love It! Hope to be able to replenish soon!!

Thank you for the excellent video. We are chomping at the bit to go somewhere. Still waiting on our lic plate and tags. Once we get that we are gone! We need to put some mile on our new Hiker and get the experience of camping again. Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Beach Mountains. we can't wait. Being on the West Coast, for now its just too far for a Hiker meet up. Looking at the lifesaver 5 gallon. Thank you for showing us how you get it all back together. It was mentioned that some people have issues with the screen doors. What are the issues?
I've heard people that dislike the additional cost and the way that mattresses sometimes need to be cut down to accommodate the screen doors.
@michaelaserre1624 We've heard the same as @lydiaRPowell The doors take up a bit of space on the sides, causing a need to carve that area of the mattress. Literally carve, using an electric turkey carver in some cases. LOL! It's the reason we opted to not add them to our build. Thanks for watching our video. Safe travels.

Thanks for the reply Gary. We just picked up our new Hiker up about a month ago and wanted to outfit it with some items before we get out in the wild, -4 degrees in KS right now so we haven’t had a chance to set anything up yet to check things thoroughly. Plan on meeting you and T in West Virginia.
Once again another fun and informative video. The carpets you guys and others are using for keeping the shoes semi clean, are they waterproof? Where did you purchase them? I use Indoor/Outdoor carpeting but those rugs look much better. Also I noticed Gary put the carpets on the roof racks...did he slide them in a tube or just secure them to the racks? Happy Trails!
Hi @scottgorman. Gary here. The carpets are made of a plastic. you can find them at Walmart ,Target, Camp stores. They dry real fast Drying and are very durable. We just roll them up and secure them to the racks. They become available early spring. They seem go real fast so Start looking early. Hope that was helpful. Thanks for Watching.

@Frank-James Hi Gary Here. Im not that familiar with the runaway trailer. I've been to there web sight and checked out CZcams. It looks to have a good price point with some good options. I don't like the big AC unit. and didn't see any Solar. I have been following Hiker sense Outside Mag did an article and a CZcams on it 6 or 7 years ago. Our Hiker is the Midrange XL What we like is having the option of the 2 foot deep galley, solar, water and the LG tool box. You can have them do the work or you can just get the base model and do it all yourself. Over the last 4yrs there customer svc has been great.. Take your time and find what will work best for you. There are a lot of good trailers out there. hope I was some help. Thanks for watching
