    "Besieged by creditors and with his income drying up, Rudolph W. Giuliani laid out an austerity program of sorts in January for a federal bankruptcy court.
    He would stick to a $43,000-a-month budget, he said in court filings, roughly in line with the income he drew from his retirement accounts and Social Security. That amount would cover, among other expenses, $5,000 in alimony payments to his ex-wife Judith Giuliani, $1,050 for food and housekeeping supplies and $425 for “personal care products and services.” He was also obliged to cover $13,500 in monthly nursing-home expenses for his former mother-in-law; she died in March."

    It is an obscenity that this man has a monthly allowance that some people only earn in a year.

  • @MK_Peace
    @MK_Peace Před 24 dny +5

    The $13,500 for the nursing home is probably leftover from part of his divorce settlement, to bring the alimony payment down.
    Payments like that aren't that uncommon in alimony negotiations.. my dad ended up paying some extra shit (like HER timeshare!! And insurance premiums!) after divorcing my stepmother, to keep his actual monthly alimony payments lower.. the extras he only had to pay at the start of each new year. Once she remarried he was off the hook for everything OFC. But he paid most of her non-essential bills for a decade before she finally remarried.
    To me that sounds very much like a court ordered thing. Or since it's Rudy, maybe it's some sort of shady tax thing. You can't tell with these grifters.
    Now the fact that he spends monthly close to what I live on for an entire year is outright unsettling. Clearly he is NOT bankrupt, nowhere fkn close. Ruby & Shay aren't ever going to get what they are owed, he'll just keep blowing through all that he's got & dragging this all out. You shouldn't be allowed to use the bankruptcy court like this. Trump did that shit over & over for like 40+ years! Screwing over every person dumb enough to do "business" with him. That's his big secret to success, now Rudy is just trying to follow suit.

    If Rudy took the subway, he'd need $150K just for personal security.

    It took me a minute to process that you said $43,000 and not $4,300. That is insane. If you are bankrupt, you get subsidized housing and food stamps and work your way back up imo. Not $43 THOUSAND a month. That’s insane.

    I’m a millennial. My monthly expenditures come in at less than $3,000 per month because I pinch pennies and I live within my means. Exactly how much avocado toast is Rudy eating?? 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

    WTF..! in Australia, to be declared officially bankrupt, it means you do NOT have one penny in the bank, nor do you have any worldly possessions of any reasonable value. How can he possibly be declared bankrupt, and still be allotted $43,000..... That is ABSURD..!!
