"During a private dinner at Mar-a-Lago in April, former President Donald Trump asked a group of about 20 oil executives to raise $1 billion for his campaign and promised that if he is elected he’ll reverse dozens of President Biden’s regulations on the oil industry. Some of the oil magnates in attendance have already begun carrying out their part of the deal.
On April 29, about two weeks after Trump pressed the executives for donations, oil company Continental Resources donated $1 million to the pro-Trump super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. (MAGA Inc.), the group’s May monthly Federal Election Commission filing indicates. The company’s executive chairman Harold Hamm organized the April meeting where Trump asked for the $1 billion, according to the Washington Post. "

We are already substantially more regulated than the rest of the world. We can roll back some environmental protections and still be one of the most regulated countries in the world. WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM! We need this to ease the economical suffering. Lower fuel cost, lowers all prices.
Tiny detail about that. The regulations are in no way responsible for the prices the consumer pays. That's a piece of nonsense that was just spouted and people buy into for no good reason. The oil companies pull in profits numbering in the billions of dollars every month with those regs in place. The only reason they want to trash them is because it's just a bit more profit they can squeeze out for executive bonuses and stock dividends. NONE of that profit will go to dropping consumer prices.
In short: "It's the regulations" is just BS.

1. The anthropogenic climate change hypothesis has at least 130 years of established science before any oil company started a campaign against climate change.
2. Climate science in the context of anthropogenic climate change is an umbrella of hundreds of scientific fields, a lot of fundamental phenomenon in this hypothesis is based in scientific theory, scientific laws and mathematical laws of nature - these are not disputable facts (to do so would be like claiming that Gravity doesnt exist [scientific law] or that the sun is not the center of the solar system [scientific theory]).
