- Playing Apex Legends, but it crashes and freezes often? Well, this video runs through some super simple fixes that can help get the game back to a working state. Often, it's other programs interfering with the game. This is one of the solutions that I cover in this video. By the end, you should have a much more stable game.

@@mariodimitrov8185 idk why but everytime i change the mode to ranked or the firing range the game just randomly freezes and after 30-40 seconds it crashes

@Nuber I think it was just either bad internet or something like that cause it just randomly stopped at some point but I got an Ethernet cable and I don’t lag anymore
I started having crashes the day the new fight night came out. 4 times in ranked now my game will just freeze and I have to task manager out of it.

So I downloaded the newest geforce driver and it fixed the issue but caused a bunch of new lagging issues.

Nothing seems to work. I either get a crash after 11 minutes 42 seconds of being in a server or I get no crashes during all of my games.

my game started randomly freezing 1 day before the fight night update and it still does. After it freezes, windows key won't work, alt+f4 won't work, task manager won't work, i can't do anything besides restart my pc. Hopefully the solutions you've shown will fix it

Use DDU uninstall software to uninstall all drivers from Nvidia or AMD and make sure you are in safe mode when doing this. It's easy to do
That might be the problem ( I purchase a new power supply just to be on the safe side of things) once you finish, make sure to restart the computer to complete.
Now you can install fresh new drivers ( since I have done this, I haven't had any issue yet. )

update: it's not your power charger for the laptop, IT APEX because I got a new charger and it still happens and crashes.
Everytime I close out of apex it messes up my whole computer and it won’t run correctly afterward I have to force it off everytime idk what to do
1 year later but this was a recurring problem for me forever
now its fixed, i did 2 things:
1) disable PCIE clock gating in bios
2) regedit TdrDelay to decimal 10
not sure which fixed it.

i have this problem where sometimes the first download of the game it runs fine but when i reinstalled it again somehow it broken like unplayable freezing stutter everywhere so heavy
I either completely cant play or the game is just insanely laggy
I mean the game is unplayable after the season 10 update. I get a lot of stuttering and freezing issues. My ping is also bad now. Tried everything but no working solution till now
Simple If ur playing in 2k enable full screen optimisation setting in compatibility as he said it worked for I tried every trick this 1 worked

Sir do you think cause of freezing my apex legends because of cpu usage? My apex legends keeps freezing while playing. When i open task manager while playing apex i see my apex legends cpu usage is 100% but my fps is 70+ my ping latency is stable.

Nope.. it's not, it's just apex thing... I have i5 3470 with 750Ti, and i can play doom 2016 without crash, but its crashes on when the match just begin (it's never crash when i first download the game, but now it suddenly crash when the match started)... I play on low and get 70 fps, so it's 100% not my system fault...

I recently had a similar issue which this didn't fix,
THE SOLUTION FOR ME WAS:
1. Turn off (or uninstall) any mouse/keyboard software such as Logitech G Hub, Razer software etc.
2. Uninstall any programs that has "RGB" in the name, mainly "Patriot Viper RGB" or any programs you don't recognize.
That was it.
Stupid and irrelevant, I know.

Mine constantly crashes like A LOT.
i built a new pc recently and yesterday i was having crashes where it gave me the error 0x887A0006. followed tutorial to fix that, and nothing went wrong the rest of the night. today my game would freeze and i couldn't ALT+F4, ALT+TAB, or use the windows key. eventually the whole computer would freeze, cutting off my discord voice chat and mouse movement. had to force shutdown by holding down my tower's power button. really hoping that something here will work

Did all of this and my game still crashes. It just freezes and I have to use task manager to close it. Also an interesting thing is that my graphics settings get reset everytime.

In my case whole system freezes , no response of win key or task manager , have to restart forcefully .
I have this issue except the freeze. My game will just crash to desktop with no error and I am able to open game again and reconnect to the same match I was in. Happens multiple times when I play. Nothing seems to work
Update - I cleaned my Graphics card thoroughly and it worked
I used DDU to remove all drivers but did'nt work, so I gone hardcore and I formatted the computer, never crashed again

On steam my apex does not close when exiting, i ltteralky have to restart pc to run it again. It not in taskmanager either, and in library it says stop but does nothing until i reboot

i had the same issue and fixed it today. i just install new Microsoft visual C+++ x64 and x86

HONESTLY. It was running so smoothly once i watched some other tutorial on how the fix it but now its just crashing everytime i open it, and sometimes it takes ages to load in the game thsn tells me to reconnect.. than after another 10 minutes it just crashes

yo guys I found a temporary fix, try going to the server "virginia 2", itll freeze for a few moments when you change gamemode but you can play it without crashing after that quick freeze

Never have I ever experienced this many freezes in so little time. My qst game in new map and had to reatrt game 3 times in under 5 minutes due to freezes. Its BULLSHIT. Ive played the gmae since release day and I have never experienced anything liek this. I diddnt change settings, but this gmae has been fukt since like season 12.. Fucking hate Repawn for only being able to fcuk things up and not fixing anything. GAme as the best to ahve ever existed in my opinion. NOw its even worse then CoD.. going straight in the trash, cant uninstall this crap fast enough
