Until this episode, Ji Hyuk was playing "nice" and "protect." The way he gets angry at Yura, you know he's not gonna play nice anymore. When he got out from Yu Ra room, in his body languages it said, "You touch Ji Won, i will kill you,"
Btw ... OTT of MMH, that scene reminded me of Na In Woo acting in River Where The Moon Rises eps 16 ... (it almost at same situation).

Glad you are feeling better and back to posting.
Now onto the episode which is one of my favorites for multiple reasons.
    1. My boy JiHyuk and like you said, don't trust the quiet ones. I always thought it was odd when you first found out he traveled back from time, he had a weird musical theme which was half villain/half vigilante and this episode showed you why. He was always holding himself back because he wanted too much and knew the stakes were too high to mess this up but Yura pushed the wrong button when she messed with Jiwon and she will pay.
    2. My poor Jiwon, tried to transplant the situation/mistakes of the past onto the situation of her present and it didn't fit and she almost lost the love of her life. More importantly, though this episode allowed her to see clearly, who loves, protects, and adores her and who has never cared for her. She knew deep down Jihyuk loved her but she had to step back to analyze herself and this episode allowed her to do this so well. I don't think I've ever seen another revenge drama that allowed the characters to analyze themselves while they are also taking their enemies on. This also allowed her to see the one she 'tried' to protect never appreciated her one bit.
    3. Sumin needs help. In the first couple of episodes, I called her everything from a bad villain, bad woman, horrible friend, jealous person, and every other name I could throw at her. In this episode, I took a step back and was more along the lines of a misguided youth who should've been in therapy to redirect her anger to the proper place and get on medication. I also hated her and Minwhan equally for gaslighting and emotionally and psychologically abusing Jiwon but you also see how much she gaslights herself to believe the narrative she creates in her head that makes her the victim always because she can't have it any other way.
Stepping back from the characters, the actors and actresses in this episode (Sumin, Jiwon, Jihyuk) did their thing and it was riveting So excited for the homestretch episodes.

Thank you ❤️🙏🏽 definitely feeling better.
Oh my goodness this episode was a journey!!!!!! So much information was given to us.
I loved the dynamic they showed us with Ji-hyuk, you see this sweet loving character when it comes to Ji-won but when that love he has for her is threatened, he turns to something that should be feared. I literally got goosebumps watching that scene.
In regards to Su-min's character it was nice to see the back story to have a bit more understanding on the complexities of her character but even after hearing what she went through it didn't reduce the anger I felt towards her. 😮‍💨 But I agree she does need help 😓❤️

It's not insurance money. It's actually money and property to Ji Hyuk has put in her name so that she'll be financially set after he dies.

The webtoon had the same backstory for Sumin but drama definitely fleshed it out with scenes

I've been waiting for you to see this episode. I just had to see how you would react to Su-min's "reasoning" for why she has done all of this to Ji-won. Now, I know that I'm alone in this, because I don't feel one ounce of sympathy for Su-min or Min-hwan. I was hoping that when the backstory was revealed as to why Su-min was this way, that it would be a valid reason for this level of hate. But it was none of that. It was just an angry girl in a woman's body creating a narrative so she would have a person to dump all of her misplaced anger on. I get so angry every time this woman says "This is all Ji-won's fault. or Ji-won dumped Min-hwan on me" Like what??? How can you actively steal something, and then be mad when it's no longer what you want?
I felt so bad for Ms. Yang and I really hope she can find some peace with Mr. Lee. No, he's not the nicest, but I know it's just tough love, and he really does care about her. It broke my heart seeing her crying on the street believing that because she is good to ppl they should in return be nice. And sadly life doesn't always work out that way.
I can't wait for Min-hwan to get what's coming to him. People like this that think they are entitled to be able to play with other's feelings because it's convenient for them. It took him no time to bounce from Ji-won to Su-min, and now Yu-ra. Can we finally be rid of this trash bags? Lol

❤️ Oh I completely understand where you're coming from first of all. I also want to add that I understand in the place of "she had a horrible childhood" as well but still it doesn't justify the fact that she was horrible person growing up because as an adult those choices that she made were her own choices it had nothing to do with her having a horrible childhood, she was just a shitty person.
Ms. Yang's story took me back to episode 1 didn't like the feeling 😮‍💨😓

the sumin and jiwoon confrontation was some 'best actress' scenes for both of them. yes the sumin character really blames everyone including her only friend jiwoon for her misery, blames everyone except herself. she has a narcissistic personality disorder.

The acting has been sooooooo good in this show, I couldn't be anymore happier to be honest.
Su-min's character is a scary one because even though the majority of the negatives in her life are her fault there's no sense of accountability from her.... It's really sad.
