    This is why Tiff is so awesome ... really clever and funny as a presenter but also an ace driver! Such beautiful smooth drifts... ah, very nice indeed.

      Great taste! How is the reliability and maintanence cost? Im no rich man, but would love a M600 or M12 one day. Debating between Lotus Exige S3 or one of these.

    Just by watching the video via my old android device, I can tell that this car is a ton of fun to drive. Really shows what you can do without any of the ultra expensive engines, parts, etc. of Lambos and other super cars. I'd buy a car like the Noble any day over super/hyper cars to be honest with you.
    I find it rather meaningless to pay for a car for 5, 6 or even 10 times the price of a Noble that may or may not give a slightly better performance (definitely not 10 times the performance and joy that you can get from a car like the Noble), unless you are a collector or a die hard fan.
    A beautiful, analogue, driver's car that doesn't have any of the modern electronic safety systems that ruin reliability, give marginal safety benefits and ruin the experience of driving a sports car.
    8.7/10. Tons of fun, awesome vehicle.
    Needs a slightly improved oil system as the engine goes dry at high rev. Nothing some after market parts, worth a few hundred pounds can't fix. 9.4/10 score after that is done.

    (see 3m06sec & 3m18sec)
    It does not look like the lead car had any problem with under-steer on that wet surface.

    Absolute death traps, was nearly killed in one of these in an RTA due to the back end fish tailing in a straight line..............

    • @christophercatto7184
      @christophercatto7184 Před 2 lety +1

      sounds to me like you might have had several other cars fishtailing in the same scenario. while the car is indeed powerful and can over-steer, from engineering knowledge of it I would not define it a death trap. a death trap is more of a car with a very flimsy chassis or completely over-powered. The M12 handles better than a Lotus Esprit or Ferrari 360, and is a close rival to a Porsche 996 GT3.

    • @superbrit3845
      @superbrit3845 Před 2 lety

      @@christophercatto7184 Not at all fella. The car was on the A34 on a dual carriage way in Oxford. He booted it in thrid gear from approx 50mph, there was an initial lag then it came on boost and was fine for a split second then the oversteer scenario started. It swung from left to right several times before it did a full 180 where we were going backward in the outside lane then we were hit head on by a Ford Mondeo at 70mph. The Police said to me how I walked away alive was a miracle. Prior to the crash it was twitchy when it came on boost, I'd no confidence at all in the handling. Sorry but a fibreglass shell on a space frame with no electronic aids combined with an old school turbo lagged top heavy based motor makes a recipe for a disaster as I found out.
