Sounds like Beau had a different time frame to the lads he picked up. But he moved a week earlier to accommodate them....despite it maybe being a cooler experience for them to go with him and gain some tube recog. I reckon Beau is a good lad!!

At 0.56 when the drone is zooming out from the kayak. Look towards the right mid-centre of the screen. You can see something like a dolphin coming out of the sea.

Really enjoying this series! On a side note, how did you create the amazing maps with moving lines?
That was an idea from a deep sea fishing show, and Mitch was able to make it with a huge stitching together of digital images so that he was then able to tilt, fly over and zoom in/out of his massive 'landscape' image. Impressive to watch him create it

At 2:32 you can see why he missed the roll. The paddle is diving deep into the water instead of skimming the surface. He is leaning way back which is perfect but the paddle is almost vertical and is giving no support at all. On the second roll 2:38 he makes the same mistake but is leaning so far back that he manages to pull it off.
That's what I keep doing for some reason but can't seem to get out of the habit

You don't do MREs? Wouldn't that work better for food and better for putting massive amounts in the boat etc
How did you fix your dead leg problem with your seat?
I started by using a thin blow up cushion, which over time became redundant. My hamstrings get really tight, but like any cockpit, get used to the seat over time. Sliding the cushion forward or back made a big difference. As in, the backside and back of the legs are incredibly sensitive to pressure, and the smallest shift makes a difference to someone who is prone to problems. Go well Keegan.

The ugly boat red and white boat with the high bow is a Point 65 N - XP18 fast but a bit unreliable over the years
I was feeling good about the departure until you hit the road... and the cars were on the wrong side of the road!
We do that on the other side of the world- whacky buggers we are.
I’ve always wanted to visit Australia! From Bellingham, Washington, US- where we really DO drive on the wrong side of the road!
