    Original Description - In this series we will explore the history of a short-lived kingdom that united the diverse, 13,000+ islands of Indonesia: Majapahit. Before Majapahit came along, however, the Kingdom of Srivijaya and the Kingdom of Mataram laid the stepping stones.

    " My ancestors were sailors Loves to wade through the ocean, Ride the waves without fear Going through storms is normal "
    Songs that are popular for us Indonesian children have a long historical basis .

    From the new founding of buried capital of Mataram. One thing is clear, they moved the capital because Volcanic eruption. Because the remnants of the capital are buried under volcanic ash.

    under the Borobudur temple a distance of 4 meters there is a much larger building .. in the form of a galaxy calendar .. borobudur is only a small peak .. and it is 40,000 years old .. and underneath again hidden 80,000 years old city plan ..

    9:46 I would like to point out the mistake in the illustration. The Malays didn't wear that style of clothing until centuries later during the age of the Johor sultanate (successors of the Malacca sultanate). The kingdom of Malacca, which later became a Sultanate after the king converted to islam, was set up by Parameswara, a Srivijayan prince. He was also the fifth and the last king of Singapura (Singapore) but he fled to the Malay peninsula due to the devastating attack on Singapura by Majapahit in 1398 and ended up in Malacca. The Srivijayan official language was Old Malay and Sanskrit (for liturgical purposes).
    Since you mentioned that you like history, I just couldn't let this slide. The illustrator should have done more research. 🙏

      there is also a few mistakes from the one they reacted;
      by the time Majapahit began to rise in power, it was in a period where nations that wanted to claim the fragmenting Srivijaya empire's long lost influence over Java began to grow larger than before. And many empires in mainland Southeast Asia barely reached 500 years of its lifetime, especially what happened to Khmer.
      And also, Extra History is not really the type that would hire people with knowledge of History.

    I can't find the Majapahit stories.. this is just stories about Sriwijaya and a little stories about the Mataram Hindu kingdom ( there are another Mataram kingdom, some people said ITS as Mataram Islam kingdom)

    Hinduism and Buddhism did not come from present-day India.. in the past they only recorded ancient kingdoms in the ancient East Indies (East Indies) ... we have even an inscription that the Sumerians and Mayans learned from the Javanese.. Look at the Sukuh Temple. .. and in Java the oldest religion is not Hinduism .. but Capitayan ..
    a lot of history turned west for political purposes.. 3G = gold,gospel,glory
