It's a really cool idea to take visual notes while watching a tutorial to make it easier to recap it later. Think I'll try this out. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Bluebiscuit's stuff has been a god send for the entire duration of my art career. Nothing quite made me understand the forms and planes of a stylized face like they did in their art guides.
Studying planes, generally, and 3 dimensional shapes completely changed how I draw, how I construct figures, helped me learn perspective, form, volume, it was like black magic, dude.
I followed along one of Marc Brunet's "Learn to draw in 30 days" types of videos . I did the exercises twice rather than once, and followed along until about day 15, where I got too busy to keep up such a regimented style of study.
I paired that 30 day "drill" with the first handfuls of exercises draw a box gives you, though, the one that massively helped was the plane exercises, where you draw square/rectangular "panels" of various sizes and draw x's in them.
Breaking down forms into shapes that make sense to you helps so much. Squares and spheres just click with me...
Yeah practicing with these tutorials and then applying what I learned from each one has truly helped me improve so much especially when it comes to designing characters, there is still so much to learn but I definitely can see the improvement and it’s kind of refreshing
Watching this actually has given me the motivation to put in more effort and try harder after struggling so much, so thank you!!

Ahh, I found someone else who can’t use the box method. I struggle so much with it myself too. You’re definitely improving! (Glad I’m not the only one who thinks kuroshiro is god tier with their art! I love their style and rendering so much!)

@@vitrimity Yeahhh same, I learned a whole bunch of tips that I never knew before, though a problem for me is when I learn things, sometimes I struggle to apply it

@@nightwatcher1...-_-...1 Thank you lol 😭 I use the Intuos Draw from Wacom I want to upgrade soon though, I’ve had this tablet for almost 10 years now and it’s still running so it’s pretty good
I'm a pretty new artist (only drawing for 1 and a half years) but I've bought a huion kamvas 16 pro I really recommend it it's the perfect size not too big not too small and it's just great overall
this is just a suggestion tho you don't need to go all out on digital tablets a screen less one is fine
