Young and the Restless 2-Week Spoilers July 8-19: Sally’s Suspicious & Claire Panics

In the beloved CBS soap opera, The Young and the Restless, high drama unfolds between July 8-19, with significant action in Genoa City and Paris. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is faced with life-altering decisions and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has a tense exchange with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are at odds, with Kyle demonstrating a shocking disregard for his father. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) counsels Daniel not to meddle in his sister Summer Newman's (Allison Lanier) life.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) warns Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) to maintain a professional distance from Kyle. The story takes an intriguing turn as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have an interesting evening together. Audra Charles relishes her new authoritative role, while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) grapples with her past. The storyline takes a twist as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) takes a risky decision.
Also, tension escalates between Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as they grapple with mounting guilt. As the plot progresses, Victor Newman sets in motion his plans to undermine Jack Abbott. Amid all these, the audience is left eager for the next week's spoilers from 7/8-7/19/2024.

I hope that Kyle will tell Summer that she does not have any legal parental rights to Harrison. Also, Kyle is an entitled spoiled brat. He needs to grow up and stop whining about Jabot.

Why don't the writers make the Adam Chelsea romp in the sheets be a dream scene that they both had! Problem solved! Fans are so fed up with the writers. I have watched Y&R since day one. It's not the same show I use to love.
I like that ideal...it was just a dream.
They always resort to a sordid affair or the unforbidden bump the rump for vierwship . Weeks n weeks of elooongated proloooonged frozen surprised guilty looks until someone comes along and figures it out. Of all of the issues this world of imaginations can face....soap writings shouldn't be this pitiful or repeated. Be creative..ok

The writers are doing a good job at making certain characters so unlikeable. Summer is so annoying and Kyle is such a spoiled brat…they are both so believably jerks…good job with the actors’ portrayal of such unlikeable characters.
So basically, Victor is going to demonstrate to Claire that Jordan was right about Victor all along.
Victor is a hypocrite telling Claire that family is everything yet he is destroying another family, the Abbotts 🙄

Kyle is going to be crushed. He is breaking his family relationship with his dad to go with Victor believing Victor actually wants and appreciates his business skills not knowing that Victor is going to kick him to the curb as part of his evil plot to hurt Jack. I hate the idea of Adam hurting Sally again. I actually don't like anything that is going on right now. The writer/s are making everyone out to be rotten people and making everyone in the soap a target to be hurt. Too much evil all at once.
I like Allen how he treating Tracey.I think they would make a good couple I hope it be a good story for her she deserves it.

That's an understatement. That was the best story Adam and Sally their love was over the top. I remember when she told him at Newman that she love him he could not talk. That was the first time Adam had a woman tell him she loved him without some string attach.Their love was unconditional on both sides. Had he came home and just trusted Sally and told her the truth. They could have gotten past it but now. He and Chelsea again and she tried to have Adam arrested. He going to trust her after that ha. I just can see it. Very poor writing skills time for me to move on. I could not believe these writers decided to give Sally a job and Billy Abbott. That was really great. Hey Sally take that to bed at night put that under your covers. Well it's summertime so you won't be to cold. Advice don't lower your standards nobody good enough in that town. You are so much more. Remember something Adam will wish he did not let you go alot sooner than you. I hope you are pregnant by him and you just smile at him and say we can co-parent have your lawyer get in touch with mine. Then when that happens there's a paragraph that states Ms Lawson or whatever Chelsea name is at that time can not handle or be alone with your child because of her mental health issues. Put the wood to Adam azz.

The Y&R writer has made some bad moves in my opinion. I don't like the Adam/Chelsea affair, I don't like Victor putting Adam back at Newman media and I don't like the Clair bashing by Summer now Katie,
It's dumb. Summer needs to be taken down a few pegs. She needs to grow up. Katie should at least try to get to know Claire.

Onlyyyyyy on soap operas can two coparents ( in serious relationships with other people) go from talking about their traumatized son to sleeping together in less than a few seconds. And somehow totally forget about the other two, during the entire thing. In real life, Adam would say " what the hell are you doing? You are with Billy and I am with Sally. You can't kiss me bro. Ok I am running over to McDonald's for some sausage and egg biscuits and a hash brown. Do you want anything??? But nooooo, on y&r, they both suddenly forget that Sally and Billy exist. However they will magically remember them five seconds after it's over and feel bad about it 🙄
Seen this a thousand times, when two people sleep together, and regret it asap. Both are hypocrites and do not put Connor first.
What makes me laugh is how they walked away from them at Society I'm black but when they got back I would be gone! Another thing I won't be watching but when everybody is gone. Sally and Billy Adam will be Chelsea 's other son. I just wonder who she will bash Adam to that might be her punishment she has nobody to complain to. Adam on the other hand I hope she treats him like a little boy in public.
It is wrong that Diane gets to waltz in after abandoning her son for years and get awarded a high position Co CEO and Jack's support over Kyle. Its NOT fair..Kyle has been trained for his legacy Diane is just getting wifey clout for her pre-meditated sad sob story. I hope Kyle succeeds with Glisaad. I hope Tara is released and Summer is faced with her non-mom truth. Claire needs to back off nanny-hood and go work for Newman . Points blanks and periods !!!!!

I want to see Claire not be taken advantage of or controlled by Victor or other annoying family members. Victoria needs to rein in that annoying spoiled daughter, Katie. Writers, leave Claire alone & let us enjoy her experiencing life in a good way instead of how she's been forced up to discovering her parents. Even though Kyle's got issues, I like how he treats Claire & their friendship is the "only" story
on this show that's been enjoyable. Hope they don't ruin that too.
Nikki has abandoned a child and she waltz right into the family company with high status with no qualifications and so can Diane. Nikki was a poll dancer. Diane had a reputable job.

Her plan to get back in with the Abbotts started when She bought that house that Jack's son owned & faked acting like a realtor to manipulate Jack when he showed up with Phyllis, looking for his son. Don't know of any honest job in her past. Nikki only other experience besides pole dancing was a fund raiser as a Newman.

Please do not let Adam and Chelsea have an affair, but if they do let the fall be catastrophic and epic because it’s just gonna add a deeper knife into the womb once Sally found out and if Chelsea whines up pregnant is going to be over and done for billy too and he is going to definitely gonna fall off the rails and on top of everything going on at work he’s going to be a ticking time bomb waiting to go off and Adam better be ready. It’s unfortunate because Sally and Billy have been nothing but supportive of Adam and Chelsea when it comes to Connor this is going to be ugly and dramatic but I have a feeling Sally is going to rise to the occasion and be on top which she deserves she will be successful maybe create her own company and make something of herself Billy is going to do the opposite he is going to lash out and come for Adam and might trip his gambling addiction again which is not good especially if he gambles with the company that’s going to be a golden opportunity for lily and Devon to push him out

Phyllis and Nick are so fun together. They bring out the lightheartedness in each other. So many serious and boring things going on. Would be nice to see something fun.

I think that Jack is blind and not looking at Diane through the Boss of a cooperation. Diane has come back to town trying to play mommy to a grown man. Then she is trying to team up with summer to take Harrison away. Since she has come back to the show she thinks she knows what is best for Kyle. My prediction is that she is going to ruin jabot.

I just wanna say that as a native Baltimorean, who watches BOTH B&B and Y&R, I'm THRILLED to hear my hometown being MENTIONED in Y&R these days! That's where Chelsea and Adam had DRUKEN SEX together! Of course, they don't want their romantic partners, Sally and Billy to know that. When their SECRET does finally COME OUT, I imagine that Adam and Billy will instantly GO BACK to being BITTER ENEMIES! I think that Victoria's younger daughter, Katie is being a total BRAT about Claire being a member of the Newman family now. I didn't like it when Kyle angrily reminded Summer that she isn't Harrison's biological mother! C'mon, WHY would he wanna HURT her feelings like that? I didn't like that at all. Considering how NASTY and RUDE Kyle is being to his parents, I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten a SLAP or PUNCH to his face yet! Maybe he should get his own place. I watch your uploads daily. I respect you, I like your voice, and I will continue to watch. I turned 60 in December. I look 40. It was a bit of a slap in the face when you commented on B&B saying the older designer that launched lingerie was like marketing sexy adult diapers. I only watch Y&R since day one, when I was a child. My mother watched it. It is really insensitive to decide older people are limited and have rules that are decided by you. Again, I will watch this going forward. But this was not funny. This was not kind, and this was unnecessary.
Well I'm 72 and from where I stand my adult diapers are not sexy and they are expensive too. One good thing I don't have to put underwears in the washing machine and use special liquid to clean them. When you have lemons 🍋 make lemonade be happy 😊.
