General Hospital Weekly Spoilers Aug 19th - 23rd
GH spoilers show that on Monday, Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) is set to be arrested by Jagger Cates (John Cates), a move that leaves Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) scrambling for answers.
Other General Hospital spoilers reveal that Lulu Spencer (Formerly Emme Rylan) is dealing with a medical crisis, adding yet another layer of concern for her loved ones. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), on the other hand, is on edge, suspecting Valentine (James Patrick Stuart) of tampering with Sonny's medication and seeking answers from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
GH spoilers hint that Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) receive a shocking phone call about Lulu, and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) at the Quartermaine stables with Tracy (Jane Elliot). Ava Jerome (Maura West) continues to play a dangerous game, while Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos) starts doubting Eva's (Maura West) role in Kristina's fall. My favorite parts of the week is Sasha & Cody officially a couple, Mac swallowing his pride and accepting Cody, Felicia, Cody saving James, Cody so happy he has a dad. Everything with these people and Maxie and Spinelli.
The scenes with Cody, Mac, Felicia, James were very touching. Brought me to tears

If Sonny lets Ava have a pass regarding how she messed with his meds, she should consider herself lucky. She could be prosecuted and they have the statement from the pharmacist.

If someone was saying despicable things about my parents after trying to force my hand to testify against my father, I’d be pissed too. Ava is not innocent. Knowing this was a pregnant woman she was talking to, it’s like she wanted to provoke her. Then she grabbed her arm. Of course Kristina was going to jerk her arm away. Ava should have never started this…she’s not innocent.

In the real world, Anna never would’ve been a police officer of any kind after being discovered as a double agent and spy. She could’ve/would’ve been arrested and charged with treason. Good thing she’s not in the real world.

I thought it was going to be Kristina arrested because that would just be a plot point to keep Ava on the canvas for a while longer.

Ava goaded Christina and what Christina said was true. Ava was responsible for Morgan’s death and she killed Connie falconarie and she outed blaze. How come she comes out smelling like a rose. She should be in jail. Molly and T.J. are very selfish. Everybody forget Kristina carried that baby for 8 1/2 months. T.J. tried to control her even when she didn’t do anything wrong and also treated her bad.y over the tv interview. Jagger has overstepped in his vendetta against Sonny. After all that's happened, it's really crappy that he's arresting Christina.
As for Cates taking and hiding the pharmacist so he could not testify against Ava, is a crime in itself, he was not acting as a FBI agent protecting the pharmacist. But as someone out for revenge on a personal vendetta, hiding behind a badge, keeping Ava’s name out of it. As for Cates he is no better than Sunny.

Sam is "taken aback" this week, and it's probably from what's happening with Kristina as well as Lulu. In due time, Dante and Lulu will reunite as a couple, and I'm here for it since Lulu's being recast. I don't think Sam has added anything to the show for quite some time.

I agree that the writers have not given Sam anything to work with since 2021.
Pairing Sam and Dante together was the epitome of lazy writing.
In order to force this fit the writers totally changed Sam's personality, and all but erased her history with Sonny,Leo,and to some extent Kristina.
Sam should have been involved with Kristina's storyline.

She's not even related to this baby. Why should she have any say at all about the name, where the baby is buried or the funeral arrangements. That should be between TJ and Christina. They are the biological parents.

I think Jason should have called Diane and gotten the pharmacist to cut a deal to testify about both Ava and Valentine and Sonny’s medication interference. That would turn some of the stories. I think Alexis is alienating Molly. It feels like she is supporting Christina’s choices and minimizing the impact on Molly. Parents can fall into a pattern of behavior where the 1 kid whose life is messier gets more obvious support than the child who hasn’t needed as much help and guidance. This time I think Alexis is going to be in for an unpleasant surprise from Molly.
I don't think that Ava is completely on board with John cates. She understands vengeful but Cates is absolutely nuts vengeful.

Dante’s dilemma is just starting with Lulu waking up let’s see who he chooses. Kristina lost to herself, all at sea, an empty vessel... she sent Blaze away. No sense keeping her tied to the nothingness she feels, her haunted former life. An act of mercy, really.
Still I wish they'd kept Blaze on. (Watching recent episodes, seems they decided to keep Brennon, throwing her overboard.) Her story wrapped up way too soon really. One of my favorites. Wonder if it was because of the controversy it created?

If anyone's love turns on and off it's Jason's.Just review their history. But ,I still love Jason and Sam together. The few scenes they've shared since Jason's return,especially the one where Jason brought Danny home when he found Danny in his room, had more chemistry and feeling than the couples that are together.

It HAS been mentioned several times...once by Carley to Ava & Cates; said they could NOT enter room as it was a crime scene
Also either Dante or another policeman said Cates' bags were found in Ava's room. Seems Iike someone missed a few scenes.

I’m sorry, I disagree. If not for Ava’s bad intent and actions Donna would have never had Sonny pills in the first place making them accessible to Donna. Donna got the meds from Ava’s belongings. That’s how they knew Ava was involved from the jump. Ava is dangerously messy!, which is true to character. This is probably the only thing GH bad writers did right.

Because she's the weakest link on GH! Plus, you have a lot of older actors coming back so they have to make room for them besides it's a financial thing of course. Besides Blaze wasn't that great anyway. Her storyline wasn't going anywhere.

I am blaming Ava. She insulted both Alexis and Sonny and was very angry. Christina just reciprocated with threats of her own. No one is to blame. It was an accident only because she tripped over Jagger’s bag which he should have left in the bedroom.
I never really cared for Rick. Not sure why they wanted to bring him back. Yeah, he can support Molly on the loss of the baby. I just don't see where their going on this. I m o they should have kept Finn. His story with Violet could have gone far. Bad enough, they axed Gregory, now Finn, to bring back Rick. WHY??😮
