You nailed it! The WRITERS are the problem! It's insane to fire Blaze and keep her despicable "mommy." With Sonny getting his mental faculties back in check, there is NO way he would set Natalia up in business. And another weak and unbelievable storyline: Willow falling for Drew. Ridiculous! Are the writers TRYING to get rid of viewers?!
Regardless ABC threatens to dump this soap if the ratings do not increase. The writers do not know which way to go. :)

But Lucky was on GH a long time , they have to pay him some money to get him back , unfortunately that meant someone had to go , probably more than her . Just a thought about some senseless plots. The killed Sasha and Brando’s baby then the “ice pick killer” gets Brando. Johnny Wactor is fired and has to go bar tend between gigs and gets killed leaving that bar at 3 am in real life. Maybe if he was still on the show he’d be with us. I feel for his poor mom out in LA looking for justice for him.

To be fair, not everyone wanted Emme to return as Lulu. Many did love her. Many did not. Some never let go of JMB's Lulu and did not feel Emme filled that role. I was one of those people. I do wish her well, however. But, I agree, there is no room for Natalia on canvas. It is not that she can't be redeemed. Worse people have. I just have no interest in watching them try.

Natalia is awful, but not in the "ohhh, she's a good villain" way. Just awful. With all of the random storylines going on, perhaps they should tighten up the main ones before putting any energy into this character. Just a completely unneeded character and storyline.

I have basically checked out. I periodically watch your channel to see if anything interesting is being offered. Plots are disjointed, drag out forever and frequently just seem to drop off. I was excited when they brought Jason back, but they have not given the character any real role. It is sad to see good actors crippled by bad writing and management.

I didn’t like the Blaze character. Nor did I like her storyline. However I don’t like Natalia either. I don’t know what they are doing at that show. It’s so all over the place. I’m sorry that all these actors are losing their jobs. It truly sucks. Whatever they were doing in the late 90’s early 00’s was great. They need to go back to that.
I was not a big fan of Blaze either , but I do think had they taken her character in a different direction she would have really been great on that show , and focused on her as an entertainer rather than so much with the relationship with her and Kristina because it really made her look like a weak character. She was really great in the role, especially when she first came to that show. I thoroughly enjoyed her and kind of thought and hoped that they would put her and Chase together..
The characters have no depth. They NEVER develop storylines anymore. I think it’s long Covid effects. Really don’t care for Natalia. Sad. Been watching utube videos from clear back in the seventies. Now those were shows.

I pretty much checked out when it was confirmed that Nicholas Chavez (Spencer) wasn't coming back. I only watch from time to time now in support of Tabyana Ali (Trina). I thought they were eventually pairing her with (Gio) Giovanni Mazza; but even that looks like it's at a standstill. Also, everytime I look up, he and Josslyn are together.
It's like when Spencer fell overboard.... the RATINGS did too.

I doubt that Frank V makes all the decisions. He has owners and producers to answer to. Maybe they are trying to cut costs. Bringing back the oldtimers doesn't cut it with me because I have only been watching for 6-7 years.
The Blaze character was only temporary. That storyline had to end.

Eva La Rue should have been brought on as Dr. Maria Santos who headed to Port Charles for a new start instead of Natalia. Maybe she thought Drew was Ryan Lavery and that's a catalyst to bring Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and Dr. David Hayward (Vincent I) in town to investigate as Ryan has been missing from Pine Valley for a decade. Along the way, the unlikely trio mix it up with Anna, Brook Lynn, Drew, Laura, Liz, Lucy, Maxie, Michael, Nina, Ric, Scott, Spinelli, and Tracy. If the writers were smart enough to do this, they revealed that CM's Drew is really Ryan Lavery - who was under Victor and/or Helena's spell to pretend he was Drew Quartermaine - the whole time.
I would love to see that storyline! YOU should be the one writing for GH these days!

I am sorry to see Blaze go. I thought if Natalie was out of her life that there would be a good story line there with. Brooklyn now having a company with Natalia and Gio. While we hate drawn out storylines it would have been a better story to let Kristina have the baby instead of having her lose her. I can’t stand how they are making TJs character be such a ninny whiny baby and paranoid. He wasn’t like that before. He and Molly were an adorable couple. Why not continue that storyline and show how hard Kristina had coming to terms with that but how she preserved in the end. Aaahhh I don’t write the scripts only watched for 50 years.

it's not paranoia if you are correct and TJ was right on, it was Kristina's irresponsible impulsive nature and Sonny's connection that caused his daughter's death
The "die-hard/old school" fans will hang in until the end, as we've done for so many years, through thick/thin, good/bad, etc. I think part of the problem right now, is the political storyline & it's "creepiness". We get more than enough of that on the news, and don't want to see it on our "entertainment" show. The "revolving door" of writers isn't helping, either. Has anyone looked into getting some "help" for Frank Valentini? His judgement seems to be in "free-fall" for the last year, or so. Hope things reach a turning point, for the better, SOON. We don't want to lose GH, and it's not looking too "safe" right now. C'mon Frank, bring back Emme, tank Eva/Natalia, and stop Scotty before he does something that can't be undone. Get some relief for Molly & TJ, and bring some joy back to GH.....it's past time~~~~~

I think the strike writers should come back they were good. lol I loved Blaze and don’t understand why? GH needs to listen to us who watch if not there will be no one watching

The actor who played Blaze was amazing! It stinks they fired her!!! Eva's Larue is a good actress but awful Natalia needs to go!! I've been a GH fan for many many years and I'm just puzzled by GH storylines the crappy writing the loss of great actors! Why not bring back Emme as lulu. Fans love her!
Totally agree with all you have said .. the writing is so chaotic and poor .. definitely the constant change up with writers is a contributing factor .. the Blaze/Kristina storyline really started out on solid ground .. even the writing for the characters surrounding the characters during the Natalia outing of her daughter was good … and it looked like they were going to do the whole storyline justice and then the abrupt ending . I also enjoyed some of the light heartedness and wit that was sprinkled in there every so often …but now , quite frankly all the storylines are contradictory in some way or another .. none of it makes logical sense ..there is no continuity at all. It’s going to kill the show if they don’t get a handle on it soon

Frank Valentini doesn’t care what the fans want and it seems like he wants the show to fail. The cast is so big that we never get to see our favorites. I really lliked Blaze but can’t stand Natalia. They could have done an interesting Kristina storyline without sacrificing Blaze. Get rid of that evil NLG instead of making her storyline bigger. Let her daughters have the limelight.

I don’t like Natalia, don’t understand why they are keeping the character, I do like Blaze and don’t like the storylines involving these 2 characters. I don’t like Jagger either. It’s not a reflection on the actors because they are terrific

I really feel bad for Blaze, for her to lose her job without any warning. Natalia should be the one to go home, not Blaze.

I don’t like Natalia she is all about ‘me’. Has anyone noticed the face,I was watching CIS Miami her fav looks good, but that I was watching on GH, boy what did she do. Looks like a face lift - her smile is stiff and her forehead frozen. She needs to go and bring back Blaze.
