    Thanks for these videos and being the ONLY person who shows a top-down view at the foul line. I would say that a huge majority of new 2-handers whether they came from 1-hand or none, are confused at where their body angle needs to be at the foul line. It is very difficult to tell from the side or rear like every other video out there. I have seen players become so confused about spine tilt and angle from videos that they literally release with their bodies and feet aimed parallel to the foul line...and thei swing being far out from their bodies. Some have adapted to it and bowl well...but their speeds and angles are very inconsistent (like mine was).

      Hey Jason, you got me! I really want to create differences in bowling tips by showing multiple angles. I once learned bowling from CZcams by watching pros with lots of illusions. We only see few camera angles from them then imitate them. This causes lot misunderstandings. I was a victim 🥲

    Thanks for the video. I never realized that the 3rd step will drift Naturally, and what i did was intentionally drift the 3rd step making the drift further

      Yeah, sometimes we need to trust our brain, our body :D it happens unconsciously, so you can save more brain capacity to execute a technique.

    I've patterned my two-handed game after Chris Via: methodical, slower with my feet, and I don't get airborne with I do my shuffle/hop step before sliding. Does he have more controlled aim swing or abduction swing plane?

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi ea0529, You need to compare your physique with Chris Via first. Different physiques create different styles. Chris's tempo might be slow from the first 2 steps but his 3 last steps are not slow. Plus his height and muscular physique might help him create the kinetic energy for his bowling ball. To my personal view, Chris uses abduction swing plane, but he intentionally creates large spine tilt from the beginning.

      There is an ugly truth which is... when you bigger and stronger, you can control the bowling ball more easily. No offense here. I am 5.64 feet height and 176.3 lbs in weight.

    How would I speed up my bowling for with a mesomorth 5’7ish build? I have like a +5 wingspan so long arms with low legs which I think makes my speed slow I can barely hit 16 and that’s only for some shots I. Mainly in 15 or 14 want to get to a consistent 17

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před rokem

      Hi Itz Ra, I'm nearly the same height as you, just 2 cm higher than you at 78kg in weight. This tactic works for me:
      1. Use your foot speed but don't rely too much on it and never reach your foot speed tolerance. Just keep in mind that you shouldn't have a lazy feet, that's enough.
      2. Use the kinetic energy of the arm swing in this video: czcams.com/video/nNk5-ZKlpZA/video.html
      I believe that it's more than enough to increase your ball speed. You should also understand that sometimes speed is not as important as hitting the pocket in a consistent manner.

      @itzra2538 Před rokem

      @@BowlismOutlaw what’s your average speed? And I agree accuracy is more important I can hit pocket pretty consistently and I’m currently averaging 200 but I just notice constantly I have to play different or deeper angles due to my slow speed and it makes that 10 a bit hard unless I’m good at aiming my straight handed shot that day

    hi, i am 47 years old and i started playing two hand bowling a few months ago. I filled all my balls. and I drilled some according to the 2ls system. but I still haven't been able to effectively fit the walking part and step speed, and I'm playing league for 12 weeks this way. I don't have a goal in terms of scoring right now, I just want to set the system for myself. I took a few videos, if I send them to you, would you share your ideas for me? what are my mistakes? what should i focus on? thanks

    Hey man, just saying, you're lining up and then immediately taking a short step back which completely changes the line up. Maybe something to get used to? And take a step closer toward the foul line, that'll make it so your finish position allows for you to release the ball smoothly instead of getting that far away from the line and feeling like you have to throw it past the arrows

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před rokem

      Hi bro. Yeah you are right, immediately taking a short step back can be undertood as re-alignment. The re-alignment might prevent some people to stop a bit while approaching to the foul line at step 3. However, if you can smoothen this re-alingment step, everything is ok. Just like you say, maybe something to get used to, just give it a try bro, let's see how it works.

    • @Liquidmetal6661
      @Liquidmetal6661 Před rokem

      @@BowlismOutlaw Hey mate, I meant that from what I saw when I saw you line up, the step back is a bad habit bud, you went from having open hips to then closed hips. From where on the lane you were throwing from, your hips should be open to project the ball right. Sorry if there's misunderstanding there. Just thought you should know that the "re-align step" as you call it, is not a good thing to have in your approach. Whatever lining up you've just done is absolutely pointless if you're going to do that step.

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před rokem

      Your hips should be open to project the ball right => totally agree bro, and it's what I aim to have when releasing the ball.
      Let's forget the re-alignment a bit. Can you explain more about the "step back"? I guess I misunderstood this phrase.

    • @Liquidmetal6661
      @Liquidmetal6661 Před rokem

      @@BowlismOutlaw Of course, so when you first line yourself up, you're taking a mini step backwards which means all that lining up and aiming you've done has been for naut cause your hips and direction is completely different from both line ups. You're essentially lining up twice for the same shot yknow?

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před rokem

      Uhm....let me think...the reason I step back on the stance is for increasing the surface of the base or foundation so I can stand firmly. I don't have intention to line up with the step back. I just move the right feet back a bit and keep it close and parallel to the left feet. That's all. Is it called lining up? 🤔
