- If you often feel uncomfortable with your approach and frustrated with accuracy, the problem lies in the timing. After a long time of struggling with the release and accuracy, I came to this conclusion. So, in this video, I will explain and help you enhance your timing.

Great! Exactly the video I am looking for! ❤ Thank you
Love the back step concept! Especially after you explained it. I’ve been struggling with my timing so I’m going to give it a try! Thanks again for the content!
Try it Jarred, who knows if it works for you! I will always explore new things. There're still lots of hidden things about 2 handed bowling :D We'll unveil it gradually.
Super interesting concept. Makes a ton of sense, similar to shifting your weight to throw ball. Ill give this a shot
Ardrasis bro, I love your word "shifting weights" :D
the ho chi minh bowling team jersey looks sick. Also i have been having success with the drift step, thanks for the videos.
I’m so happy to hear that broooo. You made my day! 😀
Thank you anh. Đợi video mới lâu lắm rồi !
Vừa định gửi link qua message cho Nat hehe
All of these are really good and helpful
Thanks Jeff for your validation 😃 more to come in January 💪
What is your typical ball speed with this footwork? Where do you bowl at? Nice video! Switched to two handed bowling last year and still working on my game
Bro, to tell you the truth, I don't measure my ball speed recently. It varies based on the lane condition. What I can control is to make it hit the pocket sooner or later. I can see with my eyes that the ball speed changes. I will try measuring it in the next practice session.
One more conclusion I can tell you that the more I optimize ball speed, the more I realize that foot speed is just a part of the big picture. Are you working on on adjusting ball speed?
Lead arm ( or non ball arm ) Parallel as your slide foot is flat and begins the slide is the correct timing. All PBA Pros have this. BELMO / PACKY / VIA / SIMO. I agree late timing is better for 2 handed. Early timing equals death for 2 handers.
Yeah, early timing issues no good for 2 handers
@BowlismOutlaw I will add I am 46 on year 2 of the switch. Your videos have really good input out of all that's I have seen. Increasing tilt is super difficult.. axis rotation is easy. It gets harder the deeper you go trying not to get around the ball early but still get more rotation. End up almost (scooping) the ball. which can be very bad.
I started doing this with my approach and my ball speed went from 11mph to 15mph. My throw timing was much better too.
So glad to hear that bro! Are you happy with it? 😀
@@BowlismOutlaw yes I am
Thk u very much
Hope it can help you Simon! 😀
can i send you a video of my bowling release i need help
Yes, of course. Please send me your video thru my instagram: instagram.com/_happybowler102_/
how to make the hand straight at the back when doing down swing???..u have any tutorial?
Hi bouya, check out this video at this timestamp: czcams.com/video/nNk5-ZKlpZA/video.html
When you understand the underneath mechanism, you will won't push yourself to straighten your arm anymore, yet achieve the goal.
@@BowlismOutlaw Thankss coach🤟🏻
How did you get used to the skip step?
Hi Randy! To my own experience, it happens naturally due to the fast tempo of 2 handed style. Are you struggling with skip step?
@@BowlismOutlaw oh I am. I can slow practice it without a ball but when I have a ball it just feels awkward.
Uhm… your case is quite interesting. May I see some of your bowling videos? Here is my instagram: instagram.com/_happybowler102_?igshid=MmIzYWVlNDQ5Yg==
At the first video of Simonsen you show, you say his ball is behind the ankle when the foot stops (late timing),.....but it isn't. In fact it is in front. Almost early timing.
Oh hi bro :D I mean when Simo's sliding foot stops and he begins to accelerate the ball, his ball is still behind his ankle, which is late timing.
@@BowlismOutlaw Yes, and i agree in general, i just see that Simonsen's foot hasn't completely stopped there. When it completely stops, the ball is either beside or in front of the ankle because the swing is coming fast. And some others like Palermaa do not slide at all. When Palermaa plants the foot, his ball is again either beside or in front of the ankle. Also you mentioned that you need later timing for 2 handers, but then you propose them to start the swing (which is shorter and ends quicker for 2 handers) even EARLIER than 1 handers . That seems confusing. If you want later timing for 2 handers , you would start the swing later not earlier, right?
The acceleration moment starts when the sliding foot stops. That is the optimal order. At that moment, Simo accelerate the ball from behind his ankle. That's what I mean and we can only achieve it with late timing. The key is the moment of acceleration which is often misunderstood. I hope my explanation is good enough, or I'll find another way to express it.
And to my opinion, most 2 handed bowler should apply late timing for better release. Early timing is rarely optimal for them.
@@BowlismOutlaw Ok that is a different thing and i agree. I was talking about the timing point only. I have a question though. Is it acceleration really? Or is the swing continuing forward while the foot stops, making it look like acceleration?
Bro, you got a great question. I also have the same question when I was a 1 handed player. With 1 or 2 handed style, I found out that if you just let the swing do its job, you won't have optimal ball speed and rev. I tried this with no acceleration moment then my hand just let the ball leave and roll, you can imagine how the ball rolls. It makes sense that you don't need to accelerate (it mean you can do that), but it's also pointless if you want optimal speed and rev.
Optimal roll consists of optimal speed and rev. If you want more rev, you must accelerate finger quickly from behind and inside the ball (I insist on the word "quickly"), otherwise the rev is not considerable. That's the acceleration moment. When we do that, we also add more speed to ball.
Please correct me if I need to improvise on anything above.
Hi there
Will this also work without using the hopp method
hop method? bro, you mean the skip step or step 4 with the 5 step approach?
Yes, the skip step
Cause I was doing normal 3 steps approach until now, the issue is spine access rotation tilt was Not low enough then cause the ball to hit my Stomach haha
But yes this weekend, I will try the skip step method and will send u some videos for sure bro
Shoes are sick! Can you provide your email so I can get in touch?
NP bro, that is mah new shoes :)))))))))))
My email is bowlism.outlaw@gmail.com
But it's more convenient to use instagram message instagram.com/_happybowler102_/
@@BowlismOutlaw Thanks. Emailed you.
The ball speed looks slow though.
It's the illusion of the eyes bro. Anyone who looks at your ball speed can say it's slow. Some other says it's fast, or normal. Ball speed is a relative feeling. The think that does not change is you hit the pocket with optimal carry. If you think you need to increase or decrease the speed , the video gives you the tips. :D Ball speed is such a tricky story which can ruin any bowlers :D
@@BowlismOutlaw That's my point. "Optimal carry" happens at faster speeds. Slower ball speeds will decrease carry and make it difficult for 2 handers to keep the ball on the right side of the headpin.
Appreciate the video 👍
Hey bro
How are you
What is your watsapp cause I wanna send you some videos, then hopefully you will be able tell what am I doing wrong
