People who have played PGR and HI3 will know that these 2 games are very different. The only thing they have in common is Genre. And it's not a copy. If you think Genre is copying, then FPS in this world is Doom rip off.
Have played both, i can say their inspiration from dmc is very close, for example yae sakura(memento frame) and lucia: crimson abyss have parts about them extremely similar to vergil's moveset from dmc 5, you can look up the videos on youtube. However, they both have their individual styles are its unique in its own way. If they were just copies and rip offs i think lawsuits woulda come super early on in both games lifespans. Btw honkai impact 3's main character, kiana kaslana's original battle suits ult is basically bayonetta.

I know the devs are huge DMC fans and also love games in general, but they only take inspiration from things they like. The game has its own robust system and unique feel. Regardless, you get bonus points for using the chibi animations to do the disclaimer at the end.
I came cause Lucia Alpha and Luna reminded me of Kiana and Mei if they were sisters. Hell Luna's ability and color scheme reflects HoV and is voiced by the same Va as Kiana.

yeah the best thing i've done was using the option "don't recommend again" for such vids and such ppl i play both since launch and love both both cool and good in their own style shitty ppl like that ruin your experience sometime so just a lil advice from someone been playing both since launch just play what u like and dont care for others
