That sahsa xpander was absolutely blissful. To me, that track encapsulates all that I love about dance music and music created with synths in general. When you changed the routings of the delay, verb & compressor, it came alive. I know you can't, but I wish you could concentrate more on music like xpander. I also hope that this video has switched on a lot of people to that type of quality music and away from some of the stuff that's being produced today. (yes I'm old and a grump)

Fun fact ..... At a house party, I once gave someone an epileptic fit to Higher State Of Consciousness by turning an industrial strobe light right up during the tracks build.

Hey Will, I know you have and love Sylenth1, check out the stock preset "014 ARP New Order", it's 99.99% the same sound as Josh Wink's, but uses a different Arp pattern. It's what they used for the Blade dance club theme song (with Wesley snipes). You said in your video that it was the hardest to recreate in Serum.
I haven't finished watching the video yet, but the leads you choose are very great and definitely will be useful in my future projects. Thank you.

Cafe del Mar lead is a preset from the Roland xp50/jv1080, just a few presets from that is the pizz sound used in faithless insomnia 😊

Great question! Usually, yes, but - if there is a specific effect you want to create - then switching up the order of effects is essential. The trick is to know WHY you're doing it. In this example, have the reverb be compressed with the dry signal is important.

Seems like that the recent Kontakt 6 factory library doesn't include the Choir anymore, at least I couldn't find it in a folder called "Vowel morphs"... A pity

thats odd, for the 1st sound i only get a pluck for the 1st note, then there are no plucks for the notes after it :(
Great video but I would have swapped Josh Wink for Signum-What ya got 4 me.
The Signum midi is available online get it and try it with some of the patches on the video - interesting to mix and match see what a Signum PVD remix would be like etc.
