I always recommend the Cat Quest games. Fun, short, funny action-RPGs. The second has co-op, which is always a plus in my book. Third game coming out in August, close to my birthday!
I've only played Crosscode out of this list (one of my favourites) and the others i need to get out of my backlog someday 😅 For a recommendation, i'd give "In Stars and Time" which came out last year. It's a turn based RPG with rock, paper, scissors mechanics.
I love learned about new indie games! Chained Echoes and Sea of Stars were the only titles I knew about so, thank you for this video! 👍 I intend to buy those two at least and will check out the rest. 😋 See you on the next one. ❤️
Omg I love your videos! The games that you mentioned that I have played: - Cosmic Star Heroine - I absolutely adore this game! The characters are perfect, the story is cool and the music is great. - Jack Move - this was great fun, looked beautiful and very enjoyable combat. I just wish there was more cutscenes but still I loved it. - Sea of Stars....I started it bit got burnt out pretty quickly but I don't think it was the game's fault. I look forward to going back to it. Games I have but haven't played yet: - Eastward - It looks beautiful and I can't wait to play it soon. - Chained Echoes- I'm so excited to get hold of this game. It looks absolutely stunning and I love the look of the combat. - Cross code - I should be getting this soon.
It's funny how CrossCode (one of best indie action rpg) and Chained Echoes (one of the best indie jrpg) are both made in Germany ahah. PS: Can't wait for the console version of 8-Bit Adventure 2. Also I hope we will have an release update soon about the games "Quartet" and "SacriFire". 😁

Hi John, great video, you make me discover a game, Jack move, did not know about this one :) I need to play lot of them too! I would recommend some old one, Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World!
The sea of stars was good but i don't think it lived up to become the modern must pay like chain echoes and crosscode. It looks stunning and i love it still but i think crosscode and chain echoes should have gotten 'more' attention than they have right now but i understand that graphics is also a factor to consider which helped sea of stars and should not be ignored. I hope the next game they do is more genre defining now that would have heaps of funding due to its success PS- i dont think sea of stars is overrated - i think crosscode is underrated Did you finish sea of stars when will you make a video on it?
