I bought an cheap BMW M140i from auction which had been stolen and tripped for parts. Ive since rebuilt and then modified it using parts from a BMW M2. Ive installed a hybrid turbo a uprated high pressure fuel pump and plenty more performance mods and now its finally time to have the car tuned and put the new power to the test

@@jamesdanielsfanpage7610 oh thats a shame. I've heard that theey are great strip cars with x drive and 600hp kit. Talked to one guy here he has it one only for street racing and he won his class in sthlm open. And won against a lot of American muscle cars with around 900hp and with big drag tyres.

Epic M140i Mat, the colour stands out, it sound aggressive as hell and has the looks to go with the aggressiveness. I’m not usually a fan of BMW’s but this build has changed my mind. Well done on another cracking build keep up the hard work mate 🤙🏼.

Another great watch...the tightness of the track I feel slightly put all of you off from flooring it completely. Great for single car runs but not two...Is there any General Aviation airfields near you that maybe you can strike a deal with to do some runs?
But still it was great seeing your hard work pay off...and on to the next project

I used to watch a lot of car CZcamsrs but gotta say Matt is by far the best,always a smile always happy “obviously he will have his off days as we all do” but most importantly he buys a broke car and builds it back up with money he makes from CZcams,the rest just get a already made car from there money and that makes it a little boring,you actually learn shit of this channel,RESPECT MATT wish you everything and more for you family bro

Great update on the 140i, it was always going to struggle for traction but what are you to do about that? And you need to change the M2 badge ;-)

Awesome video! Mat or any expert reading this - does it affect negatively the suspension or bearings fitting wheel spacers? Considering adding them to my car.

If you're buying spacers that bolt to the hubs with another set of holes for the wheels to bolt into then make sure they're good quality with 10.9 bolts and use locktite to bolt the spacers to the wheel hub. I've had a set on my car and they kept rattling loose to the point where the wheel nearly came off.

Mine is starting to feel a bit tame with 455bhp/634nm, and I'm looking at cooling upgrades and a Dorch stage 2 HPFP, so I'm 'future-proofed' when I can afford a Vargas GC+ turbo :-))

Talk to MP to see if they can torque limit the 1st gear to help get off the line,this should help with 1st gear traction

Matt, get a set of slicks on the rear of that M140i and just watch how fast it goes with a stupid amount of grip. Would be interesting to see the comparison with road tyres and slicks on 0-60/100-200 times.
