Want to learn more on posing your subjects? Jerry shares his 5 tips here! bhpho.to/3urpjP3
Jerry Ghionis, you are a Spectacular Photographer. You look at what is and you harness your mind and lighting skills to step up your photos to be Rembrandt-like.
Thank you once again Mr Ghionis to remind us that the magic can happen "in camera" and that creativity is the most important thing.
Wish I had the balance to do such things. It makes me wobble just watching this. Jerry is such a master at his craft!
Ive been following you for a few years now and you are one of the great inspirations of my life. Thank you.
As usual you absolutely killed it with every image. I’m constantly inspired by your photos, your ability to see triggers in every environment and your in camera cropping and framing is just superb. BTW the video at the end…WOW
You, Sir, are the best at what you do. Not only as a photographer, but also as an educator. I am not afraid to say that studying your work, techniques, etc., should be mandatory in every photography school. From my humble perspective, your place is secure in the Jedi Council. Grateful I am for your teachings, Master Ghionis.
This was probably my favorite video from the whole 2-day "Depth of Field" event.
My favourite part of your wedding pic vids is that they often show _three_ versions of the same photo:
1. Competent: the journeyman pix: meat-and-potatoes, eat-your-vegetables;
2. Expert: the "basic" photo with at least two improvements;
3. Master: an inspired improvement over the Expert that only an obsessive would attempt, and only a skilled pro would pull off.
These vids are a terrific resource.
And they're free!
Thank you.
The video at the end is stunning. If that didn't sell more than a few bodies, nothing will. Of course, the entire presentation here is pure gold. Thank you Jerry (and Nikon & B&H).
absolutely. stunning. photographs - and what a great video at the end !!!
Great, great tutorial, one of the best in a long, long time,
Thanks a ton!
Absolutely amazing work. I love the diversity
OMG! What an occasion!! Kristi Odom's wedding!! She is one of my favorite photographers and educators. I've learned a lot from her through B&H. Congrats to her on her wedding. Lots of greetings from Bangladesh.

Amazing stuff with that couple with the reflected wall light.
Thank you Jerry, thank you B&H!
Excellent presentation. Thank you
WOW, I LOVE this.
Amazing tutorial Jerry. Love how you are giving back to the art, helping others to find their way. Hit me up for a coffee if you ever get to Perth!
That was awesome! I learned so much. It really clicked where I am in my photography. I felt that it should have cost me some money to watch, it was that good. Where is that Vulcan mind meld when I need it!? What a talent! And those dancers at the end, fantastic!
Hi Gerry ! Love from Greece ! Always amazing !
He is a genius. Best photographer in my humble opinion
Wow. You're a genius. These were spectacular.
I got the willies just looking at the drone footage of you standing up on that rock. You're not getting me anywhere near there! A 6' ladder is my limit! * Amen on doing it in camera.
GUILTY! Such a reminder to learn to shoot in full sun.
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Great ( again)!
So very encouraging and helpful.
Jerry is a true master of posing and using light. Thanks again to @BandH for sharing this education.

Thank you!
Awesome!
Great lesson! Thanks!
simplemente maravilloso
Jerry I need that jacket you got on besides I think it has magical powers that might make me almost as good a photographer as you.
What a Teacher!
COOL!!!!
Thank you Jerry very much. And I did feel the pain with Jerry because I did had my hand smashed into the cacti like Jerry did while photographing the milkyway in North Phoenix as well.
Thank you so much for all this information. One thing I have an issue with, is that with my Sony A7 III there's no option for the multiple exposure. Or at least I haven't found a way to do it in camera.
Sou um pleno admirador!
Wow! You are amazing..soo much to learn from u sir.
Thanks for watching!
Μπραβο λεβεντη μου παντα κορυφαιος!!
Audio is blown out
i love the drone shots but this made me queasy watching and scared af lol
want to learn on fashion photography
17:07 how many watts are these lights?
Sounds like the volume level was too high when recording.
Nuts. That is all I'd say.
Good day Mr. Ghionis my name is Daniel I’m relatively new to the photography world, I wished to purchase some gear for iPhone photography. I have an iPhone 12. Help?
👍🏾🙏🏾
Amen on getting it right in camera. * 0 $ for Z9, unfortunatey.
Good stuff. But I have a feeling, that this kind of strong, harsh sunlight is good for model-like subjects but not for all plus size persons. Am I wrong ?
Audio is terrible, unfortunately is very hard to listen to, i can't see a video like this, pity because i love Jerry and wanted to learn from him
that intro🤣🤣🤣
The audio is bad.
Ok so I'm afraid of heights and my tummy going even though it's on TV
i dont know how i went from learning great photography techniques from youtube videos to proving i can do it to being told by everyone in professional photography that im not qualified to do anything and they wont let me do it.. the professional photography community is so dumb.. if youre good at phtography no one will give you a chnce if you dont have years of experience photographing the thing they photograph. its not like if you understand photography you can do anything. they treat it like if you havent photographed that thing before then you could never do it without years of practice.. for example, in order to get hired to photograph weddings you need years of experience and the minimum requirement ive ever seen is you have to have photographed at least one wedding.. but no one will let you photograph a wedding unless youve photographed a wedding.. so youll never photograph a wedding because youve never photographed a wedding.. getting into it is basically impossible.. same for every other photography job.. they dont care if you know how to do it.. they just tell you that you cant..
It's not difficult to get in make your own contract shoot a wedding in exchange for model release form and advertising. It's just that no one talks about it.
your audio sounds terrible in the studio... why?
Is it just here, or is the audio really terrible?
I think it’s your device
Good video but poor sound quality.
Made me sick to my stomach just watching. Insane.
Oh hell no
JESUS LOVES YOU.
I clicked off after putting someone’s life in danger for a medocre image…
This fool is way we are losing access to national parks with this climbing over our natural treasures
