Great video, thanks for all the info, Light painting is the best.
WOW I'M SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU A FEW VIDEO'S AGO !!!!
Yourself being such a young Buck might enjoy my light painting history.
So you may be interested to know I have been doing light painting since 1977.
Long before computers cameras with computers in them and long before light room.
Wich meens it was all done in 35mm film. Wich also meant no instant pictures to plan on or manipulate with on camera viewing.
In between each shot depending on how many effects was going into the photograph. The shot we simply put a thick black cloth over the lense the remove it for the next effect.
THE FUN PART WAS WHAT YOU BACK FROM THE CAMERA STORE AFTER DEVELOPMENT.
Some not so good all the way to up awesome and all FUN.
In 2022 I purchased my first the AF 35mm camera then last month my first digital camera sony a-77II.
Yesterday I ordered a new tripod and head. (Lost some gear to house fire)
For the last few months my wife has been stocking up on costume pieces like red ridding hood ferris princess ext.
Who's the model i Shanghigh'd for all these shoots my 7 yr old granddaughter of course.

Will buy some tools along and try some DIY too and introduce it to some family and friends as hobby. Thank you once again Susan, i am very grateful. i will definitely visit your website for more kicks. Not on Instagram but maybe it is time with your guidance. Let me start another one of your videos.

Were you in Nelson, NV? That area looks like it, the church, the old cars...
How do you keep yourself out of the shot while moving around with the light tube? I seem to always see myself behind the subject as I'm spinning the tube around? What am I doing wrong?
