How do you pose your portrait subjects?
Yo, B&H! Hire a camera crew! Can’t believe I’m saying this, but wow. A thousand photogs in a room and no one can just film this presentation properly?
Facts
Great stuff. Thank you BH. I know it might be too much to ask but if videographer can follow the speaker it would be great. Thank you.
Enjoyable, helpful and very informative! Thank you so much Roberto and nice B&H staff!
amazing as always!!
B&H, Mr Valenzuela is a renown worldwide photographer and an expert on this subject. I cannot believe of the low production value that was given to this presentation. I appreciate the free content but please consider improving the presentation perhaps with more camera angles and show what is actually going on. Thanks.
Alan, you are slouching 😂 this guy is dope
Excellent stuff!
Excellent content.
Great presentation and full of VERY helpful information!!!
Thanks for watching!
Brillant 👍👏
informative content.
Information best
Ok I wish I had that photographers energy lol!
But what did she say at 23:09? Hahaha. Great talk Roberto.
That's what I was thinking!
I heard "10,000 dollars" 😂
This guys is a little aggressive for just teaching a photo class 😂😂
What the heck… why are you showing us a static slide of the chapter title for minutes on end instead of showing us what the presenter is demonstrating on stage ?
model didn't want to be on youtubes
Okay, just starting this video. And the speaker going “Everybody hates posing” is not really a mark of confidence. Posing is so important but it is hard to find great resources for this subject because most photographers seem not to care about evolving this part of their craft. I want to hear from someone who actually does love posing.
That being said, upon further watching… dude is a f-ing genius professional. Wow
B&H....you really need to improve the production of these. The information is too good to ahortchange it like this.
Gonna read his book even though he repeteadly doesn't recommend it😂
Liked the presentation but don't get this "ruining the model's confidence" proposition, especially if you work with a professional model. What would happen really? They lose all their confidence, cry on the set and quit modelling? It seems this "confidence thing" much more about the photographer's issues. Real people in the real world can get a bit annoyed if you aren't sure about how to pose them, but honestly they can wait a bit and you always can elevate their mood by jumping around like a crazy monkey.
Your post processing is garbage though. You should have the same mindset in post as you do in what is in camera. So not truly the highest .1%
Nice work! but horrible video and backdrop, so sad
You seem to have abandoned your 7 x 7 x 7 system? 90 degrees everywhere. Do we get our money back on the books that you're now telling us are a waste of time?
Roberto, you spent an hour saying "don't say 'don't f it up'" to the subject. I like your spirit but this is not content rich speaking.
Portraits tells a story. That's the difference.
He just said that if u have wrong lens u will get a stupid photo but the editor chose a photo of his that was the worst. Ironic
